The Site Safety Officer will be responsible for partnering with a site operations team in a Fulfillment Center to execute company safety policies and ensure compliance to all applicable local and regional regulations. By leveraging lean principles and kaizens, this individual will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes to ensure a safe and healthful working environment for our Associates. The Site Safety officer must demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with the Operations Team and influence change through providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis.
 
 
The Site Safety officer must be an effective communicator and send clear, concise and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing. This individual must instruct and train Operations Leaders in company safety policies and assist the operations site teams in incorporating our safety standards at their site. The Site Safety officer will be required to identify best practices and incorporate these best practices into our standards to continuously improve company safety policies. The Site Safety officer will be required to possess excellent safety program and relevant safety, environmental and ergonomic knowledge and demonstrates this expertise when working with Operations.
 
 
The Site Safety officer will be responsible to lead a safety team members: Safety Specialist, Safety Coordinators, Onsite first aid Associates. This individual must create and execute leadership development plans for their Safety Associates on their team. They must communicate safety team expectations and give frequent and appropriate feedback to their safety teams and ensure they are executing to the core competencies of an Amazon safety professional. 
 
 
Safety officer Responsibilities: 
<ul><li>Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable Amazon Safety Policies.</li><li>Measure sites&rsquo; performance against published requirements in safety policies. For all deficiencies, identify a plan for the site to implement and fix all identified deficiencies.</li><li>Deliver on-time and quality projects to Operations.</li><li>Analyze safety metrics and review incident weekly and monthly incident trends to discover trends to justify the allocation of appropriate resources to areas where the safety risk is highest.</li><li>Perform frequent site safety audits to identify all non-compliance equipment and/or processes at the site. Implement solutions to eliminate exposure to these risks and prevent injury at other FCs.</li><li>Audit recordkeeping practices and Global Safety Database entries to ensure compliance to global safety standards and local regulations.</li><li>Audit the workplace organization and Associate behaviours to ensure that training, auditing and scoring methods are accurate and consistent.</li><li>Manage and mentor Safety Associates in your assigned FC.</li><li>Spend time at the fulfilment centers and seek input from Safety teams, Associates and leaders on safety program improvement opportunities. Ensure open communication on status of progress and resolution against these suggestions.</li><li>Ensure site leadership and Associates are trained and knowledgeable of their responsibilities under each policy. Audit the quality, delivery (including qualifications of the trainer), and effectiveness of all required safety training.</li></ul>

The Goodyear Police Department is excited to offer the iSWIFT process (Individually Scheduled Wiki Interview and Fitness Testing). iSWIFT gives applicants the flexibility to work directly with our recruiting team to choose interview and fitness testing dates that fit their schedule. The Goodyear Police Department uses the Police Officer Physical Aptitude Test (POPAT). All qualified applicants will be required to complete a liability waiver prior to participating in the physical agility evaluation. Operational Responsibilities<ul><li>Enforce federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and department policies in a fair, impartial, and professional manner.</li><li>Transport citizens, prisoners, and individuals committed for mental health evaluation, utilizing handcuffs and other approved restraints in accordance with department policy and applicable laws.</li><li>Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with the public, fellow officers, supervisors, prosecutors, and other agencies.</li><li>Prepare accurate, thorough, and timely written reports, including investigative narratives, diagrams, and sketches, using proper grammar, symbols, and basic mathematical computations.</li><li>Mediate disputes and manage confrontations involving hostile or potentially violent individuals, utilizing de‑escalation techniques and appropriate use‑of‑force principles consistent with training and policy.</li><li>Perform multiple law enforcement tasks requiring differing and sometimes contrasting skills, often under stressful and time‑sensitive conditions.</li><li>Exercise sound, independent judgment in determining reasonable suspicion for detention, probable cause for search and/or arrest, and when the use of force is justified and to what degree, in compliance with constitutional standards, Illinois law, and department policy.</li></ul>Command‑Level &amp; Supervisory Responsibilities (Deputy Chief)In addition to the above duties, the Deputy Chief of Police shall:<ul><li>Assist the Chief of Police in the administration, planning, and coordination of departmental operations, programs, and personnel.</li><li>Provide direct supervision and leadership to sworn and/or civilian personnel, including assigning duties, evaluating performance, and enforcing department rules, regulations, and standards of conduct.</li><li>Serve as acting Chief of Police in the absence of the Chief, exercising full authority as delegated.</li><li>Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of department policies, procedures, and general orders consistent with ILETSB standards and best practices.</li><li>Participate in budget preparation, fiscal oversight, and resource management, as assigned.</li><li>Review reports, investigations, and use‑of‑force incidents for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance;
