Store Co-Managers are responsible for working in tandem with the Store Manager to ensure the successful day to day operation of Home Depot stores. They share responsibility for maximizing store sales and profitability while working ethically and modeling Home Depot's core values. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
25% Co-Managing the Business. Co-Manage all aspects of store operation and profitability.</li><li>
20% Excels in Customer Service. Ensure that customers are acknowledged, customer project needs are met, concerns are resolved quickly. Work with Store Manager to forecast scheduling needs to meet customer demand.</li><li>
20% Supervising Store Associates. Work with team to recruit and hire qualified candidates. Determine starting pay and pay increases over time. Observe, evaluate, coach, train, and develop associates. Communicate Home Depot and store objectives to associates.</li><li>
15% Merchandising. Ensure all products and displays are merchandised effectively. Walk the store with Store Manager, District Manager, Merchants and others to stay proactive on merchandising issues.</li><li>
10% Planning. Develop and communicate store standards to associates. Develop, with Store Manager, a store mission, strategy and objectives and ensure that they are met. Study competition. Identify trends.</li><li>
10% Other Duties. Ensure safety of customers and associates. Verify deposits. Follow standard operating procedures for openings and closings. Sign for petty cash, markdowns, time slips, refunds, price change take in reports, etc.</li></ul> 
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:<ul><li>
Position reports to District Manager</li><li>
Accountable for direct supervision of the work activities of others. In addition to personnel issues including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.</li></ul> 
Travel Requirements:<ul><li>
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.</li></ul> 
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).</li></ul>

The CO-Manager is directly responsible for all non-merchandising areas of the store to Include: Backroom Functions (receiving, processing, maintenance, backroom organization, layaway) Front End Functions (POS Registers, Service Desk, Cash Office) HR/Admin Functions (Hiring, Staffing, Paperwork HR and Front End). The CO-Manager acts as the Store Manager in the absence of the Store Manager and has total responsibility for the store. Partnering with the Store Manager, The CO-Manager is also involved in all aspects of the store operation in their assigned store. The CO-Manager ensures the store is fully staffed to the model. Fully responsible for ensuring all company policies and procedures are understood and executed. Accountable for improving store volume, profits, shrink, employee retention/turnover and store merchandising/presentation standards by meeting and exceeding all established budgets and company guidelines.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:</h4><ul><li>
Responsible for meeting or exceeding budgeted sales daily and driving all company KPIs.</li><li>
Responsible for delivering weekly payroll at or below budget weekly by ensuring all team members are scheduled to the needs to of the business and payroll is recorded and reported accurately.</li><li>
Organizes and directs all daily activities to include all Operations, Merchandise, Loss Prevention and Personnel Functions in partnership with the Store Manager.</li><li>

Position Requirements:</h4><ul><li>

Transfers to other stores within the market may occur and will need to be flexible to those opportunities.</li><li>

Ability to perform basic math functions in order to operate the register, make change and conduct inventory.</li><li>
