Position Overview:
The Aquatics Specialist is an intermediate operational role in which the focus shifts from learning to independent execution. This position requires the ability to perform lake, pond, and stormwater maintenance activities with minimal supervision. The Aquatics Specialist is expected to be fully proficient in company policies and safety protocols, deliver high-quality results across all divisions, and maintain certifications and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Independence &amp; Performance
<ul>
<li>Autonomy: Perform most necessary maintenance activities on lakes, ponds, and stormwater devices without direct supervision.</li>
<li>Scope Management: Be thoroughly familiar with client contracts and scopes of service to ensure all requirements are met.</li>
<li>Quality Control: Pass monthly Corrective Maintenance audits with a score of 80% or better.</li>
<li>Cross-Divisional Excellence: Receive positive feedback on performance from all FLPM divisions (Preventive Maintenance, Construction &amp; Repair, and Retail).</li>
</ul>
Technical Troubleshooting &amp; Assessment
<ul>
<li>Diagnostics: Proficiently troubleshoot and maintain basic fountain and aeration systems.</li>
<li>Vegetation Management: Identify and control most undesirable vegetation problems.</li>
<li>Proactive Reporting: Observe job sites to anticipate maintenance needs and relate detailed notes/repair opportunities to the Service Manager.</li>
</ul>
Communication &amp; Compliance
<ul>
<li>Reporting: Effectively use client reporting software and time-tracking apps (keeping administrative time under 25%).</li>
<li>Fleet Care: Independently manage vehicle maintenance and inspections by deadlines.</li>
<li>Responsiveness: Respond to emails within 2 business days and phone/texts during working hours</li>

Job Description:
This position serves as a technical expert in civil inspection providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to lower-level inspectors while representing the Division on complex construction projects. The incumbent ensures compliance with approved plans, specifications, codes, standards, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Key Responsibilities</h3>

The Inspector will be assigned to work in Nashville or Chattanooga, TN.</li>
<li>Performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, marking, and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests</li>
<li>Coordinating and managing the lower level inspectors.</li>
<li>Performing work under the general supervision of the Project Administrator.</li>
<li>Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.</li>
<li>Sets own project deadlines.</li>
<li>Provides on the job training to new employees.</li>
<li>Monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.</li>
<li>Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records.</li>
<li>Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.</li>
<li>Tracks quality assurance progress.</li>

<li>Daily travel and or overnight stays may be required depending on project needs.</li>
<li>Valid TN Driver's license, have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)</li>
