Experience with video is the primary need for this position, but the position will require photography coverage of events and portraits as well. The ideal candidate will be adept at both mediums, but training and coaching on photography can be provided.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
The job requires someone who can:</b></p><ul><li>
Capture well-crafted video footage and assemble it into content for various marketing and communications purposes (examples include short social media video clips, storytelling interviews with students and announcements of major gifts);</li><li>
insert closed captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text into video content;</li><li>
maintain a video and photo library that can be shared by other team members;</li><li>
photograph or video campus events for internal clients as well as for public relations;</li><li>
work as a member of a team to complete projects (including other photographers, designers, project managers and relationship managers), as assigned by the creative director;</li><li>
set up and tear down cameras, audio recorders, lighting, microphones, and props;</li><li>
maintain proficiency in the use of camera equipment, computer hardware and software and adhere to policies and procedures of Strategic Marketing and Communications;</li><li>
