   Ensure the compliance with the standards dictated by Saipem QHSE policies and safety procedures, in order to perform the activities in a safe manner

   Manage the Crane operations, in close coordination with Hook-up Superintendent (Floatel, Jack up, Work Boat, Platform cranes)

   Provide a construction report at the end of each shift and prepare a clear handover of duties

   Assist the Hook-up Engineer in the follow up of project equipment and consumable, ensuring proper and time effective stocks of tools, equipment and consumables are arranged in line with project forecast workload

The Bridge Mechanic position, under supervision, performs maintenance and repair work to bridges. A position in this class works in masonry, steel, carpentry, brush cutting, painting, excavating, and other construction methods. Work includes the operation of motor vehicles and power equipment, and may include work at higher or lower level on an incidental basis.<br>
<br>
<b>SUPERVISION RECEIVED</b><br>
This position reports directly to the Bridge Superintendent and/or Public Works Director.<br>
<br>
<b>SUPERVISION EXERCISED</b><br>
This position exercises no full-time supervision, but may oversee and instruct the work of Summer Bridge Crew employees, reporting any issues directly back to the Bridge Superintendent or Public Works Director.<br>
<br>
<b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION</b><br>
Conducts routine inspections of all County bridges to assess the condition of bridge structure, guiderail, bridge deck, approach roadways, and waterway opening. Reviews required maintenance items with the Bridge Superintendent.<br>
<br>
Completes bridge maintenance tasks assigned by the Bridge Superintendent. Determines materials needed for jobs, checking against supplies. Secures materials and equipment for each job. Coordinates schedule with other department personnel, including the use of temporary work zone traffic control equipment and techniques while performing work adjacent to traffic.<br>
<br>
Maintains records of jobs performed, materials used, and related information. May instruct and oversee the work of seasonal personnel, providing assistance with jobs, as directed by Bridge Superintendent.<br>
<br>
Operates trucks of various sizes to haul construction materials, equipment, and debris. Operates specialized and general equipment such as small backhoes, forklifts, string trimmers, chainsaws, lights, blowers, paving, air compressors, jackhammers, and similar tools. Performs preventative maintenance and repairs of such equipment and vehicles.<br>

May be required to respond to emergency situations outside of normal working hours as directed by the Bridge Superintendent and/or Public Works Director as needed to install temporary protective measures and signage.<br>
<br>
Maintains bridge sidewalks in a safe condition, removing snow, ice, and other debris. Applies de-icing salt as needed.<br>
<br>
Maintains bridge waterway openings by cutting and removing fallen trees, brush, and other debris when conditions allow the work to be conducted safely. Notifies Bridge Superintendent of severe obstructions that require the assistance of an outside contractor.<br>

Ensures bridge sites are well-maintained and free of overgrown weeds and vegetation.<br>
<br>
Assists other trades personnel and performs such work on an as needed basis.<br>

<div><p>The City of Huron, South Dakota, is seeking an experienced, future-focused Assistant Solid Waste Superintendent to support a critical department during a planned leadership transition. This position is anticipated to be a temporary, in-training role with the intent that the successful candidate will transition into the Solid Waste Superintendent position upon the planned retirement of the current Superintendent, contingent upon successful performance and City approval.</p><p><b>

About the role</b></p><p>
Under administrative supervision, the Assistant Solid Waste Superintendent is responsible for assisting with the overall leadership, operation, and management of the City&rsquo;s Solid Waste Department, including the Transfer Station, composting operations, and C &amp; D (rubble) sites. The department oversees solid waste collection, disposal, composting, and recycling (single-stream and cardboard), while managing personnel, equipment, and financial resources.</p><p>
During the in-training period, the Assistant Solid Waste Superintendent will:</p><ul><li>
Learn and support all major operational areas, including collection routes, transfer station operations, recycling, composting, and rubble site management.</li><li>
Receive direct mentorship and training from the Superintendent in leadership, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and long-range planning.</li><li>

<div><div><ul><li>Ensure that all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities are carried out according to stated procedures and agreed schedule.</li>
<li>Ensure that quality standards and safety procedures are being followed by commissioning staff, including adherence to work permit requirements.</li>
<li>Review the pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures for all installations under his responsibilities (field instrumentation, fire and gas units, on-line analysers, telecommunication system).</li>
<li>Develop new or review the existing inspection forms for the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities pertaining to instrument activities.</li>
<li>With reference to the General Pre-commissioning Schedule system wise, prepare the detailed program for all Instrumentation items. Define the daily activities and develop the day-by-day planning following the priorities agreed with the Commissioning Superintendent.</li>
<li>Coordinates Field instrument activities with Commissioning Control Systems Superintendent in order to ensure a smooth execution of the Commissioning Plan, in line with the constrains and priorities defined by the Commissioning Manager.</li>
<li>Monitor and ensure the activities are carried out as per schedule.</li>
<li>Assign the tasks to the supervisors/assistants.</li>
<li>Support the CIS and cooperate with the other Commissioning discipline Superintendents (mechanical, electrical, and control systems) in order to complete the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to allow a smooth hand-over of the project within the target dates and priorities defined with the Commissioning Manager.</li>
<li>Report and update on the progress of the activities.</li>
<li>Liaise with Client Project Team, Project Management, Subcontractors, Vendors Representatives.</li>
<li>Propose to the Commissioning Manager and CVC the needs for mobilization of Vendors specialists. Organize and follow up in field all the activities required to implement the Vendors requirements and activities at Site.</li>

 The Commercial Pipefitter Quality Assurance (QA) Representative is responsible for implementing and maintaining the quality management system for commercial piping projects. This role ensures that all quality standards and procedures are met and maintained on-site, with a focus on mechanical piping systems as well as air side equipment. The QA Representative coordinates with project stakeholders to guarantee compliance with quality objectives and industry standards such as ASME, ASTM, and local code requirements.
