Position Overview:
SEED Professionals spend two years developing their core knowledge and business acumen in the areas of operations, training, safety, sales and customer engagement within Keystone&rsquo;s five key divisions: Energy, Grain, Agronomy, Swine &amp; Animal Nutrition and Corporate. SEED Professionals spend 9 weeks in each division in their first year, with year two focused on their individualized apprenticeship and obtaining any specialized licensures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Include but are not limited to:<ul><li>
Gain in-depth knowledge and on-the-job training regarding daily operations at Agronomy and Grain branches, and within the Energy, Swine &amp; Animal Nutrition and Corporate divisions</li><li>
Assist divisional and branch leadership with housekeeping and maintenance of facility and grounds</li><li>
Ensure safety compliance</li><li>
Communicate daily activities, needs and accomplishments at branch level with management</li><li>
Engage with fellow SEED Team and Leadership on scheduled update calls, at internal and customer-centered events and at divisional Development Days</li><li>
Attend events where potential SEED candidates are present, answering questions and serving as a recruiter for subsequent SEED classes</li><li>
Participate in SEED Program Capstone project through team meetings, small and large group presentations and connecting with Keystone Executive leadership</li><li>
Working on individual or small group projects as the need arises</li></ul>
Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>
Basic agronomic, animal husbandry and grain experience, as well as prior agriculture and FFA experience preferred</li><li>
Strong team player, clear communicator and self-starter</li><li>
Ability to prioritize and ask questions, with a strong work ethic necessary</li></ul>

POSITION SUMMARY
The Melt Shop Superintendent provides safety, quality, and production leadership in alignment with department and company objectives. Additional responsibilities include managing day to day operations, continuous improvement cost control, production, scheduling, and engaging in and leading department initiatives. The Superintendent&rsquo;s areas of responsibility also include Raw Materials inventories, melt loss reduction, blending optimization, molten metal quality, and setting priorities for maintenance. 
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Golden Aluminum; therefore, the superintendent must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Maintain a safe work environment through cultural development, behavior based safety, and adherence to Work Instructions, RCA on safety incidents and near misses, and completion of safety observations.</li><li>Establishes weekly personnel schedules, and labor requirements to achieve production goals and objectives.</li><li>Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity, production shortfalls, and operating concerns for remediation.</li><li>Responsible for selection and mentoring of Leads.</li><li>Ensures adherence to/compliance with company policies, rules and regulations relating to safety/health, performance standards, operating procedures, processes, and training requirements.</li><li>Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations and participates in annual inspections with the Department of Environmental Protection.</li><li>Manages critical raw material inventory level and actively manages charge mix for cost optimization.</li><li>Responsible for implementing NCR corrective actions including re-training of hourly personnel.</li><li>Collaborates with Department Manager to plan departmental work flow in order to achieve long term goals established by senior management.</li><li>Identifies and evaluates production practice changes.</li><li>Schedules and implements necessary employee training.</li><li>Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization&rsquo;s policies and procedures.</li><li>Directly supervises 18-21 employees: monitors work quality, including conducting performance appraisals and providing counseling for improved performance.</li></ul>

Compensation: $85,000 - 110,000 depending on experience
