The Senior Visual Editor is responsible for curating and producing innovative visual content across platforms (including social, video, digital, print, experiential) that meets brand integrity and production quality standards, while remaining on schedule and on budget. Manage content production budgets, as assigned,including negotiating rates with outside vendors. Exercise sound judgment in when to escalate to Visuals Director and Deputy Editor.</p></li><li><p>

Secure contracts, photo fees, and usage rights for all images (produced and researched), in partnership with CN legal and business affairs teams.</p></li><li><p>

CBS News Miami is looking for a highly talented video editor/writer with a passion for news and experience using non-linear editing equipment.</p><p></p><p><br>
Overview and Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>
Candidate must have previous non-linear editing experience working in a fast-paced television news environment.</li><li>
Previous writing experience preferred. Must be detail-oriented, and deadline driven with minimal supervision.</li><li>
Experience with Grass Valley Edius editing system, Avid iNEWS a plus. Editor must be a creative and poised team player who can juggle multiple projects at once.</li><li>
Candidate must be flexible with work schedule, and willing to work nights, overnights, and weekends as needed.</li><li>
