 Key job responsibilities
 
 
 The Facilities Supervisor &ndash; Maintenance will be responsible for the leadership/development and coaching of the team. Performance Management will be carried out by the Facilities Supervisor &ndash; Maintenance. This role also leads the technical team in providing both a reactive and pro-active maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure within the AMZL Distributions Centers. The role has a direct impact on the site, its productivity and operational success. If equipment is not available or performs badly it minimizes the capacity and throughput of the site.

 Supervise the execution of approved Turnaround (TA) scope for rotating machines and static

 Support the Turnaround Engineer by providing field updates and required information during

 Undertaking and complete tasked maintenance &amp; diagnostic activities on an aircraft or components which may include, as appropriate, aircraft ground handling, flight servicing, aircraft role changes, component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements and/or functional/system test

 Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or Military equivalent apprenticeship / qualifications. Academic qualification for this role is a minimum of City &amp; Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent. Aircraft platform training (On a/c requirement)
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Requires a broad and in-depth product knowledge/competency within own technical/subject area. Awareness of how the team integrates with others in order to achieve the overall objectives of the area and demonstrates an understanding of the requirement for continuous improvement and its application

 Experienced and competent leader at this level. Requires a minimum of 2 years working at Supervisor level prior to undertaking a Senior role. Demonstrating breadth of experience, currency &amp; recency via a Log Book capturing skills, knowledge and authorities for working on Aircraft type or in bays. Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices. A comprehensive knowledge of Expositions and Functionally Mandated Procedures Management training. PDR training / experience
