<div>Role Summary: Lead and manage the site supply chain team to deliver site-operational objectives and provide outstanding supply chain service levels on quality and delivery whilst achieving lowest total cost of acquisition for direct material, indirect goods and services, and logistics. Be an integral part of site management team, representing strategies and objectives of Global Supply Chain team (GSC). Drive deployment of supply chain processes and resource development while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities :
<ul><li>Site Annual spend of approximately $XXM USD for direct material, $XM USD for logistics and $XM USD for indirect, excluding capital.</li>
<li>Manage the team of Buyers who are responsible for acting on order suggestions (requisition or other) and exception messages generated by MRP system.</li>
<li>Manage the team of Logistics Analysts who are responsible for handling the daily logistics movements for incoming goods to the site.</li>
<li>In collaboration with the Global Supplier Performance Group, manage supplier performance (on-time delivery and quality) for site specific deliveries/suppliers.</li>
<li>Track and improve site supply chain KPIs vs those defined by the Platform Supply Chain Director/Global Supply Chain.</li>
<li>Drive cost reduction initiatives aligned with GSC strategies to meet annual operating plan (AOP) and long-term business objectives.</li>
<li>Manage, minimize / eliminate supplier inflation/price increase request(s) and escalate to appropriate Global Supply Chain team for further leverage accordingly.</li>
<li>Support site PWC objectives by leveraging inventory management opportunities and supplier payment terms (examples: Make vs. Buy strategy / Supplier Managed Inventory programs / Net 60 days as minimum supplier pay term).</li>
<li>In coordination with the respective teams within the Global Supply Chain, ensure utilization of strategic tools and processes to achieve objectives of improved on-time delivery and quality and reduced cycle times and total cost of acquisition:</li>

<li>Work with platform and GSC cross-functional teams to support &amp; drive sourcing initiatives to reduce costs, rationalize supply base and leverage new technologies.</li>
<li>Support any supply chain initiative roll-out across the enterprise or ad-hoc requests as requested by line manager.</li>

Working in close coordination with the Purchasing Team and the Corporate Quality Team, the role is responsible to ensure a high quality of suppliers, through the qualification and continuous effective supervision of the assigned suppliers in order to maintain a high-quality level of the purchased parts obtained though continuous improvement. 
Main Responsibilities<ul><li>
Works with Engineering and Purchasing team to develop and maintain thorough knowledge of technological developments and trends for guidance of commodity teams in advancements of design, quality, and manufacturing</li><li>
Assess potential supplier base, support Product Sourcing Strategy and provide leadership in new supplier selection and process development</li><li>
Plans and manages the process of qualification and auditing (system and process) of new and active suppliers</li><li>
Together with Purchasing, manage serious supply issues</li><li>
Works with the supplier to resolve open quality issues and ensures that the problem-solving process at the supplier is carried out in the manner and time required by Eldor</li><li>
Evaluate and monitor suppliers, coordinating the data collection process and performance summary through the periodic assessment of appropriate indicators. Assure proper process control standards are in place and continuously monitors key manufacturing processes to ensure consistent quality in Tier 1 &amp;2 supplier base</li><li>
Conduct assessment in the full VDA6.3 format for a new supplier, and as required on a tri-annual basis for current suppliers</li><li>
Product introduction and management. Launch APQP elements with component suppliers</li><li>
Assign PPAP criteria for individual components, considering Eldor homologation requirements and OEM customer specific instructions</li><li>
Assist Program Manager with reviewing PPAP status for each component on the BOM</li><li>
Review PPAP submissions for adequacy, with responsibility for approval and, as needed, follow up</li><li>
Provide input into Supplier Monitoring Process (scorecard)</li><li>
Support Eldor Manufacturing Plant in Roanoke VA to ensure component supplier completes root cause/corrective actions for repeat and larger quality issues</li><li>
Supplier Training and Development</li><li>
Monitors supplier&rsquo;s adherence to Process Change Notification on a timely and cost-effective basis</li><li>
Manage Incoming Quality Process and Team</li><li>
Manage the Supplier Quality Agreements with local suppliers</li><li>
Ability to travel up to 50% of time</li><li>
Working knowledge of IATF16949</li></ul> 
Preferred Qualifications/Certifications<ul><li>
Certified IATF16949 lead auditor</li><li>
Experience in the following component types: Metal stamping, silicon rubber molding, electronics assembly, wire drawing, and raw material compounding</li><li>
Working knowledge of SAP, Process FMEA, statistical tools</li><li>
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&amp;T) and knowledge of Measurement Devices</li></ul> 
Technical Knowledge and Skills<ul><li>
Quality standards in the Automotive sector ISO 9001:2015; IATF; VDA and management systems for the environment 14001-fundamentals, APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning and Control Plan), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)</li><li>
Management of the production approval process of series Design FMEA, Process FMEA Supplier Auditing Techniques, in accordance with customer-specific requirements</li><li>
Knowledge/Reading of Technical Drawings/Prints</li><li>
Knowledge of the product/process requiredIATF knowledge, Automotive process management and risk-based thinking*</li><li>
IATF core tools (APQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA, PPAP)</li><li>
