IT SUPPORT MANAGER
IMT Insurance is now hiring for an IT Support Manager within our Network Services department. As an IT Support Manager, you will be responsible for leading all IT Help Desk support activities for IMT Insurance&rsquo;s employee group. You will do this with a small dedicated team across various technologies like Microsoft Windows, O365, macOS, iPadOS, Azure, Active Directory, Zoom, etc.. The team is responsible for all onboarding and offboarding of employees. This group also cross trains to cover Operations Support functions, including 1st and 2nd shift. A DAY IN THE LIFE
<ul><li>Provides oversite and escalation point for technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software.</li>

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 The Opportunity
 
 
 
 We are seeking a
 
 Administrative Support Manager
 
 to join our Firm. This position will be based in our New York office (hybrid). This position will manage all aspects of the Administrative Support team including department administration, recruiting, staff oversight, training and employee development, performance management, and general process and departmental improvement in the NY office.
 
 
 <ul>

 Manages the daily operations of the Administrative Support department including department projects, day-to-day operations and long-range plans.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitors time, attendance, overtime, expense reports, and absence requests to ensure accuracy and compliance with Firm policies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinates daily workflow, oversees workloads, and monitors utilization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manages and addresses staffing requests and assignments efficiently.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures accurate and timely responses to requests for departmental services.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provides ongoing coaching and guidance to business services professionals to implement continuous quality improvements and/or enhancements to department operating efficiency.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participates in the recruitment, interviewing, and selection process for Executive Assistants and Administrative Project Coordinators, ensuring the highest standards of talent acquisition.
 </li>
 <li>
 Consults regularly with the department&rsquo;s Assistant Director and other managers in the creation and implementation of team programs and initiatives, as well as regarding the status of employees&rsquo; work performance and broader departmental updates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborates with peer managers in the Administrative Support Department, Paralegal Services and Operations Group Management teams, to increase departmental efficiency, strengthen employee knowledge, and abilities, improve leadership and maintain high level service support to attorneys and clients.
 </li>
 <li>
 Partners with other members of the Administrative Support management team to design, coordinate, and deliver training programs tailored to the experience and development needs of the Administrative Support business services professionals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures current knowledge of Firm policies and practices, current knowledge of industry trends and continued professional development for business services professionals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Engages in strategic (i.e., long-range) planning by developing departmental goals and supporting objectives for assigned department.
 </li>
 <li>
 Serves as active member of management by recommending new or revised policies, procedures and/or practices that promote efficiency, effectiveness, excellent customer services and excellent management and employee relations. Suggests new programs and/or activities, which reflect best practices or current trends in legal administration.
 </li>
 <li>
 Effectively utilizes the Firm's performance management process to communicate performance expectations, monitor performance, coach employees, and manage unsatisfactory performance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversees employees' work performance and provides guidance in the resolution of problems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Initiates disciplinary procedures in collaboration with the Human Resources Department.
 </li>
 <li>
 Recommends guidelines and practices to promote efficiency, effectiveness, excellent customer service and improved employee relations in alignment with the Firm's Core Values.

 Develops and communicates departmental guidelines and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Forecasts financial and budget requirements for the department, prepares related reports, and monitors the budget.

 Knowledge of relevant Firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems
