<div><p>The Center for Oral Health Policy and Management (COHPM) at the New York University College of Dentistry seeks a Clinical Assistant Professor of Epidemiology to design and conduct population-based research on oral health, access to care, and health equity, and to translate that evidence into policy, education, and practice.
</p><p>COHPM's portfolio spans oral health policy analysis, dental workforce and education research, executive and leadership education, and international programs, including the Center's multi-institution Medicare dental initiative, its evidence-based dentistry and artificial intelligence work, and its global leadership programs. The Clinical Assistant Professor of Epidemiology will supply the methodological backbone for this portfolio by framing answerable questions, designing rigorous studies, analyzing complex population data, and publishing findings that inform policy at the national and international level.
</p><p>The successful candidate will function as an independent investigator with a clearly defined program of research, will pursue extramural funding as principal investigator, and will mentor doctoral and master's-level trainees. The position carries no clinical patient care responsibility.
</p><p>Key Responsibilities
</p><ul><li>Lead population-based oral health research examining oral disease burden, oral-systemic health relationships, dental care utilization, access to care, and related population health outcomes using large national, administrative, clinical, and electronic health record datasets.

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in the Department of Engineering, with a focus on advanced solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) modelling, three-dimensional combustion and engine simulation, and AI-assisted modelling approaches for hybrid marine propulsion system development incorporating a range of decarbonisation technologies.</div><div></div><div><br>
This position is part of the EPSRC MaRes Hub and the Horizon Europe project SEASTARS, both of which aim to advance maritime sustainability through the integration of innovative emission-reduction and energy-efficiency technologies across multiple ship classes and shore power applications.</div><div></div><div><br>
The project seeks to deliver industry-relevant modelling toolkits that enable optimal design and operation of greener vessels, backed by real-world demonstrations. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of multi-disciplinary modelling, advanced AI algorithms, and decision-support tool development. Responsibilities will include programming, analysing and interpreting data, and contributing to innovative solutions that support maritime decarbonisation.
