Responsibility
<ul><li>General stewardship of design project(s) ensuring compliance with contract, code and legislation on all HSE matters Specific.
</li><li>Project management, production of project deliverables on time and to budget. Preparation of proposals, man hour estimates &amp; execution methodology.
</li><li>Identification of HSE requirements for a given project, planning and implementation of associated activities.
</li><li>Assist Lead Engineer with project management duties.
</li><li>Preparation of Project HSE Plan, Project HSE / Loss Prevention, F&amp;G Philosophy documents.
</li><li>Scoping, coordinating and following up HAZID, HAZOP, SIL &amp; 3D Model reviews.
</li><li>Review of design documents and plans &ndash; across all disciplines &ndash; to ensure HSE compliance and to identify specific hazards;
</li><li>Preparation of Hazardous Area Schedules and layouts.
</li><li>Fire and gas detection - philosophy, layout and specification.
</li><li>Active Fire Protection / Passive Fire Protection design.
</li><li>Firewater System Design &ndash; Hydraulic Analysis (using PIPENET), P&amp;IDs and Layouts.
</li><li>Ensure recognised offshore engineering practices applicable to safety &amp; risk design are adopted.
</li><li>Development of design and operational engineering studies in the areas of risk, safety and Safety &amp; Risk.
</li><li>Application of international codes including: NFPA and API, etc.
</li><li>Preparation and management of, both Qualitative and Quantitative Risk Assessments, including application of dispersion, fire and / or explosion models, COMAH / Safety Case, risk ranking, EERA, ESSA, TRIA,
</li><li>Quality Assurance &ndash; Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Business Unit.
</li><li>Safety &ndash; Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Business Unit. Understand and follow OH&amp;S procedures.
