In 2026-2027, our community will include 700 students in grades 6-12, nearly 500 alumni, over 150 faculty members, and hundreds of families. As an HR &amp; Talent Associate, you will serve as the school's primary recruiting engine. This is a newly created role at the heart of Boston Prep's talent strategy, and the person who fills it will be responsible for ensuring that every open seat on our staff is filled by a mission-aligned, high-quality candidate. 
This role has a focus on talent acquisition and recruitment strategy. Additionally, this role will support core HR operations in partnership with the Director of HR &amp; Talent. Essential Job Functions: 
Recruitment Strategy &amp; Pipeline Development:

<li>Partner with the Director of HR &amp; Talent to execute Boston Prep's annual recruitment strategy for instructional and non-instructional staff</li>
<li>Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline of mission-aligned candidates through consistent, relationship-based outreach</li>
<li>Identify and track sourcing channels by effectiveness (quality of hire, time-to-fill, diversity of candidate pool) and adjust strategy accordingly</li>
<li>Research and recommend new sourcing partnerships, platforms, and strategies to continuously improve recruitment outcomes</li>
<li>Represent Boston Prep at college and university career fairs, education job fairs, and community hiring events throughout the Boston area and New England region</li>
</ul>
Partnerships &amp; Sourcing Channels:
<ul>
<li>Cultivate and manage relationships with teacher residency programs (e.g., Match Teacher Residency, Boston Teacher Residency), alternative certification programs, and DESE-approved licensure pathways</li>
<li>Manage job postings across all relevant platforms, including LinkedIn and school-specific networks</li>
<li>Develop and maintain a talent database of past applicants, silver medalists, and warm leads for proactive outreach when positions open</li>
</ul>
Full-Cycle Recruiting &amp; Candidate Experience:
<ul>
<li>Manage the end-to-end hiring process for assigned roles, from screening through offer acceptance</li>
<li>Screen resumes and conduct initial phone and video screens with candidates</li>
<li>Coordinate and schedule all interview rounds, including demo lessons and interviews</li>
<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the process, ensuring timely, warm, and professional communication that reflects Boston Prep's culture</li>
<li>Collect and synthesize interview feedback and support hiring managers in making well-informed, equitable hiring decisions</li>
<li>Support managers with verbal offers and negotiations in coordination with the COO</li>
<li>Actively work to recruit a diverse staff that reflects and honors Boston Prep's student community</li>
<li>Partner with the Director to identify and mitigate bias in recruitment practices and job descriptions</li>
</ul>
Recruitment Data &amp; Reporting:
<ul>
<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) for all open roles</li>
<li>Track and report on key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source of hire, offer acceptance rate, and candidate diversity</li>
<li>Prepare a quarterly recruiting dashboard for the Director summarizing pipeline status, upcoming interviews, and open roles</li>
<li>Conduct post-hire surveys with new employees to gather feedback on the recruiting experience and identify improvements</li>
</ul>
HR Project Support:
<ul>
<li>Support new staff orientation and other HR sessions, including logistics and materials preparation</li>
<li>Process offboarding documentation and support separation logistics</li>
<li>Support HRIS data entry (new hires, status changes, terminations) and generate reports as needed</li>
<li>Support CORI/SORI background check and I-9 processing</li>
<li>Support various HR projects and priorities</li></ul> 


Additional Expectations and Responsibilities:

The PMD Talent Effectiveness Associate Director (AD) leads the strategy activation and end‑to‑end execution of the Partners and Managing Director (PMD) performance management process for the U.S. Aligned to the firm&rsquo;s broader talent and performance agenda, this role is pivotal in enabling a high‑accountability, performance‑driven partner experience that reinforces clarity of expectations, transparency of outcomes, and continuous, high‑quality feedback for the firm&rsquo;s most senior leaders.

</li><li>Partner with GTM to provide strategic input into the PMD scorecard approach, informed by execution insights, PMD feedback, and process outcomes, while GTM retains scorecard design ownership.

</li><li>Lead and coordinate leader and participant briefings (slides, agendas, run of show) and align logistics with cross-functional partners (e.g. People Experience, Internal Communications, and Service Line Operations).
</li><li>Oversee and manage PMD support mailbox triage for related inquiries and ensure timely, accurate Q&amp;A routing and closure
</li></ul>2) PMD Scorecard Partnership
<ul><li>Partner with the Office of the COO on the PMD scorecard approach, providing strategic perspective informed by execution insights, PMD feedback, and downstream process impacts, while the COO retains scorecard design and strategy ownership.
</li><li>Lead the operationalization of the scorecard by coordinating with the Office of the COO and HRIS/Technology teams to ensure Oracle performance‑cycle data is prepared and delivered accurately and on time (data definitions, required fields, upload templates, load monitoring, issue resolution).
</li><li>Own and manage issue and risk logs tied to scorecard use (e.g., targets, sales crediting impacts, quality or lead integration points); assess implications, elevate tradeoffs, and escalate with clear recommendations.
</li></ul>3) Partner with the People Experience team to shape and steward the U.S. partner and managing director experience, ensuring the process align with overall expectations of the partner and managing director roles.
4) Communications, Training &amp; Canvas Content
<ul><li>Translate annual PMD scorecard updates and process changes into clear enablement resources, applying judgment to determine messaging emphasis, sequencing, and level of detail needed for senior audiences.
</li><li>Lead development and delivery of PMD performance process communications and supporting materials (cycle announcements, instructions, FAQs), ensuring alignment to strategic intent and clarity of required actions.
</li><li>Own PMD program content on Canvas (guidance, timelines, tool links), setting content standards for accuracy, version control, and usability; coordinate archival and structural improvements as needed.
</li><li>Partner with the Office of the COO and Service Line/Quality teams to provide clarifying guidance where PMD scorecard measures intersect with SL‑specific standards or lead behaviors; elevate themes and implications for broader alignment.
</li></ul>5) Data, Reporting &amp; Insights
<ul><li>Own PMD cycle reporting (participation, timeliness, exceptions, cycle progress), applying judgment to highlight insights, risks, and decision‑relevant themes for leaders.
</li><li>Ensure end‑to‑end data integrity for PMD‑related data flowing into and out of systems (Oracle uploads, dashboards); proactively partner with Technology, HRIS, and Analytics to resolve issues and improve reliability.
</li><li>Synthesize trends, recurring questions, and pain points from reporting, office hours, and mailboxes into actionable insights and recommendations to inform process improvements and future approach decisions.
