Position Summary

The Tanker Driver supports concrete grinding operations by operating and maintaining a tanker truck, managing slurry removal, and assisting with general jobsite labor as needed. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, travel-heavy construction environment. 


Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions

(General duties; not all inclusive) 


Operational Support
<ul>
<li>Safely operate a semi with tanker trailer in support of grinding operations, including following grinder equipment during active work.
<ul><li>Including driving in and out of traffic closures on highways/interstates.</li>
</ul></li><li>Transport and properly dispose of slurry at designated pits or disposal locations.</li>
<li>Perform tanker washouts, including climbing onto the tanker as required.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate E-Logs and comply with DOT regulations at all times.</li></ul> 


Jobsite Assistance
<ul>
<li>Frequently get in and out of the truck to connect, move, and manage hoses for the grinder.</li>
<li>Assist with traffic control tasks, including moving traffic barrels when required.</li>
<li>Support other crew members with general labor duties to keep the job site running efficiently, including assisting on yard days.</li></ul> 


Equipment &amp; Safety
<ul>
<li>Conduct routine inspections and assist with basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all company safety policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and equipment operators.</li></ul> 


QUALIFICATIONS &amp; SKILLS 
Required

<li>Valid Class A Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License (CDL) with Tanker endorsement</li>

About the role
The CDL A Driver II will perform duties associated with transporting non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and customer locations. Drivers will primarily operate walking floor trailers and tanker equipment, with the opportunity to learn and operate roll-off trucks in the future. Pay Transparency 
Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld&rsquo;s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future. 
The pay range for the primary location of this position is: 22.60 - 30.05 USD per hour
