 We have an exciting opportunity to join our International Tax &amp; Transaction Services (ITTS) practice as a
 
 Manager
 
 where you will have the chance to advise various clients on the regional and international tax implications of their operations in line with the relevant tax codes and jurisdictions. This is an advisory-focused role that specializes in international tax matters such as (but not limited to): permanent establishment, double taxation, cross-border treaties, tax structuring, corporate tax impact assessments, withholding tax, and any other relevant matters.
 
 
 
 Your Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 You will spend your time assisting with the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding international tax engagements, ensuring technical and practical excellence to maximize client service quality.
 
 
 As part of a global entity, you can also expect to manage leads and opportunities from other areas of the tax practice and the wider EY network and help them do the same.
 
 
 Moreover, you will be a core contributor to the development of the practice through initiatives such as delivering internal training, developing precedents, sharing knowhow, participating in team and firm events, giving internal and external presentations, and producing expert articles for publications.

 A relevant Bachelor&rsquo;s degree focused on Tax, Economics, Accounting, or Finance, or related area in addition to an approved professional qualification such as ADIT, ATT, ACCA, CPA, CA, or LLB. Alternatively, a relevant Masters&rsquo; degree is also acceptable.

 6 years or more of relevant, client-facing international tax advisory experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Broad exposure to international taxation with focus on inbound and outbound investments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational, project management, analytical and verbal/written communication skills

 Experience of managing a team and/or mentoring and developing more junior team members

Advise clients on a full spectrum of international tax services including planning, research, compliance, foreign tax credit, international provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, outbound and inbound structure planning and cross-border transactions</li><li>
Lead multiple international tax engagements ensuring the delivery of quality tax planning and consulting projects for our diverse clients</li><li>
Build on technical competence by keeping up-to-date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to complex situations</li><li>
Collaborate and build relationships with Baker Tilly member firms around the world</li><li>
Provide international tax technical guidance to tax professionals firm-wide</li><li>
Assist with managing client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met</li><li>
Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients</li><li>
Invest in your professional development individually and through participation in firm wide learning and development programs</li><li>
Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet their professional goals</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Qualifications</h2><ul><li>
An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required</li><li>
CPA, MST or JD/LLM required</li><li>
Eight (8) + year(s) experience or some degree of exposure to international tax provisions, cross-border issues, and U.S. compliance for international tax payers such as, foreign tax credits, controlled foreign corporations, withholding regimes and tax treaties; professional services firm experience preferred</li><li>
Two (2)+ year(s) of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates desired</li><li>
Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the &quot;big picture&quot; as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects</li><li>
Eligibility to work in the U.S., without sponsorship, highly preferred</li></ul><div>
The compensation range for this role is $184,174 to $233,450. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.</div></div>
