Job Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Assist with maintaining Federal and State Power of Attorney forms</li>
<li>Assist with backdated payroll processing for amended return preparation</li>
<li>Distribute general department emails to appropriate point of contact.</li>
<li>Sort and distribute tax notice mail.</li>
<li>Assist with term processing</li>
<li>Enter tax issues into Agency Notice Tracking System (ANTS)</li>
<li>Assist in researching, tracking and resolving tax issues on a timely basis</li>
<li>Process EFT/ACH authorization forms</li>
<li>Enroll clients in agency online systems</li>
<li>Review and setup new client year end delivery instructions</li>
<li>Assist with W2 corrections</li>
<li>Enter and update tax identification numbers and unemployment rates</li>
<li>Apply for tax identification numbers on behalf of clients</li>
<li>Assist Proliant tax team as needed with various projects</li>
<li>Demonstrate initiative by constantly looking for and recommending ways to improve Proliant operations and/or customer service</li>

 Your Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 You will combine strong technical skills with practical commercial, legislative and industry knowledge to lead a team in providing tax services. You will be responsible for a team to help manage our clients&rsquo; compliance and reporting needs. You will establish, maintain and strengthen valued internal and external relationships and ensure that the services delivered to clients is of the highest quality.
 
 
 You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of client engagements, monitor progress and deliverables, put in place the necessary standardized processes, anticipate and identify risks, escalate issues as appropriate and drive performance-improvement solutions. You will supervise high performing teams and build a positive learning culture, coaching and counseling junior team members to help them develop. You will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to our Tax Quality guidelines.
 
 
 Ability to manage client portfolio effectively. Ability to write advisory memos for day to day tax related advisory queries from the clients. Sound skillset to draft legal responses for tax controversies at tax department level and ample skillset to draft appellate documents to assist clients at appellate forums.

 A very strong knowledge and minimum of 3 years of experience in domestic and international tax rules/regulations, developments etc., ideally within a large professional services company or similar environment.
