Summary:</h4>

Qualifications:</h4>
Required:
<ul><li>Currently hold a Colorado teaching license or have licensure application in process with a School Librarian endorsement (must upload license or in process documentation to application).</li><li>
Applicants who hold a Colorado teaching license and enroll in a School Librarian program upon hire will be considered.</li><li>
The endorsement must be acquired within 36 months.</li><li>
Completed and submitted BVSD on-line application.</li><li>
The READ Act SB 19-199 (PDF) and SB22-004 (PDF) requires that all Colorado teachers who provide literacy instruction to students must earn a &ldquo;READ Act Designation&rdquo; by meeting specific requirements. Information Specialist: The school librarian ensures equitable access and responsible use of information by:

Maintains the daily environment of the school library, collection, and supplies.
