Amazon's Industrial Robotics Group is looking for a Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to support the buildout, maintenance, and operations of our development facilities and manufacturing equipment integration into R&amp;D facilities and the factory floor. This is a builder role for someone who thrives in the ambiguity of a zero-to-one development and manufacturing environment, sitting at the intersection of construction, manufacturing engineering, and R&amp;D to help transform our facility into a dynamic instrument that accelerates engineering velocity while embodying Amazon's Leadership Principles. 
 
Key job responsibilities 
<ul><li>Support end-to-end execution of facility retrofits, construction projects, and equipment installations, serving as a key interface between internal stakeholders, equipment vendors, and construction contractors</li><li>Coordinate with the Tool Install team responsible for equipment layouts, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and operational support</li><li>Contribute to the physical transformation of development and manufacturing sites, supporting facility layout optimization and construction approaches through first-principles thinking</li><li>Partner with R&amp;D and Manufacturing Engineers to define equipment layouts and utility requirements (power, air, process cooling) aligned with manufacturing and R&amp;D roadmaps</li><li>Support the deployment and operation of a rapid-response internal machine shop with CNC machining, fabrication, and prototyping capabilities</li><li>Enable rapid development cycles through dynamic facility capabilities and efficient modifications, supporting product development timelines during critical phases</li><li>Support facility operations and maintenance, including preventive maintenance programs, spare parts management, equipment reliability initiatives, and sustaining activities</li><li>Coordinate with specialized trade contractors (electricians, pipefitters, riggers) and manufacturing equipment vendors</li><li>Support capital budget (CapEx) tracking for facility upgrades and equipment installation, contributing to cost optimization and vendor performance efforts</li><li>Uphold a safety-first culture, data-driven maintenance practices, and regulatory compliance across all operations</li></ul></div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</h2><ul><li>5+ years of program management or technical project management experience</li><li>Demonstrated experience managing brownfield retrofits or bringing new industrial R&amp;D labs online.</li><li>Experience setting up or managing technical workshops/machine shops (CNC, fabrication, prototyping).</li><li>Proficiency in reading and approving technical drawings (P&amp;ID, architectural layouts).</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h2><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field</li></ul>

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Currently, our team is seeking a Lead Director &ndash; Technical Infrastructure that will work with Technology Engineering organizations, ensuring eﬃcient coordination of software acquisition, utilization, and license management activities. This Lead Director will collaborate with sourcing, finance, asset management and contracts teams to successfully complete the acquisitions. The goal of this team is to strive to procure, replace, upgrade, evaluate and maintain software assets to meet capacity demand and technology requirements. We proactively support IT roadmap and long-term vision with a focus on eﬀectively managing Contracts, Products, Vendors, T&amp;Cs, compliance, assets utilization, optimize costs, and risks.
Expectations for the Role:<ul><li>
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into licenses acquisition requirements and coordinate eﬀorts with procurement and contract team, while ensuring software quality, SLA, cost eﬀectiveness, privacy, and compliance</li><li>
Be innovative and devise negotiation strategy and license matrix that is beneficial to the company and in line with IT's long-term vision of product and technology roadmap</li><li>
Collaborate with product subject matter experts, procurement sourcing and contracts team, finance, asset management and renewal teams to achieve successful execution and eﬀective maintenance of software contracts, performance, and deliverables</li><li>
Assist engineering teams in navigating technology and contract-related matters, provide support and guidance to ensure eﬀective utilization of technology and adherence to contract terms</li><li>
Provide guidance and support to leadership, stakeholders, procurement, and contracts teams on software evaluation, acquisitions, and maintenance of contractual terms</li><li>
Identify opportunities for cost savings and eﬃciency improvements</li><li>
Proactively negotiate favorable business terms and cost of third-party software</li><li>
Optimize the utilization of products and assets through eﬀective management</li><li>
Oﬀer expertise and insights to assist in making informed decisions on contracts</li><li>
Cultivate and manage vendor relationships eﬀectively</li><li>

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>
10+ years working within Information Technology or Software Engineering, focused within infrastructure engineering, application development, data engineering or large-scale systems</li><li>
5+ years hands on experience working on Datacenter, Infrastructure, Network and Cloud servers</li><li>
3+ years of experience with third-party technologies and vendor support management</li><li>
3+ years solving complex business or technical problems and proposing solutions</li></ul>
PREFERRRED QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>
IT Contracts Management Skills: Excellent contracts management skills, with expertise in managing contractual terms, cost, compliance, and utilization of licenses</li><li>
Business Skills: Ability to understand technical requirements and well experience in translating technical requirement into business discussions with non-technical teams</li><li>
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to influence leadership, vendors, technical teams, and drive successful outcomes in a collaborative environment, with a focus on managing contracts with excellence</li></ul>

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,540.00 
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company&rsquo;s equity award program.
