DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
The Field Technician assumes responsibility for providing technical services related to the installation, troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of Platinum&rsquo;s products while maintaining effective communications with fellow team members and clients. The Field Technician must perform his duties to assure the safety of himself and those around him and guarantee the cleanliness and orderliness of the work area. The duties and responsibilities of the Field Technician include, but are not limited to the following:<ul><li>
Travels onsite to complete service work and monthly preventative maintenance requirements for Platinum&rsquo;s products.</li><li>
Inspects, investigates and troubleshoots equipment for quality control and improvements.</li><li>
Works and communicates safely and effectively with field operations, fellow employees, and contractors.</li><li>
Successfully completes and starts up new installations of Platinum products in the field.</li><li>
Manages and maintains appropriate stock levels of inventory and tools.</li><li>
Secures appropriate parts and supplies through designated procurement system.</li><li>
Ensures all appropriate records are maintained such inventories of parts, equipment and tools, work orders, timesheets, etc.</li><li>
Provides onsite and remote technical support to necessary persons (customers, manufacturers, distributors, etc.) for product installs, troubleshooting and training.</li><li>
Uses and adapts computer programs to retrieve and analyze data.</li><li>
Available for 24 hour on-call duty and subject to call-outs and travel time for work associated with field operations and/or emergency response.</li><li>

Maintains cleanliness of the work area and associated equipment.</li><li>
Proactively responds and adapts in the work environment to meet the highest standards.</li><li>
Prioritizes and coordinates work activities to complete jobs individually and as a team.</li><li>

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.</li><li>
Must be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, twist/turn, push/pull, squat, crawl/kneel, reach above shoulder.</li><li>
Must be able to perform repetitive hand/wrist/arm movements.</li><li>
Average close/distance vision necessary in order to record data and operate equipment.</li><li>
Must be able to communicate effectively and be understood by others.</li><li>
Must be able to hear the various equipment in order to diagnose issues.</li></ul>
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS<ul><li>
Excellent customer support and troubleshooting skills.</li><li>
Prior experience/familiarity with basic hand and power tools and electrical meters.</li><li>
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.</li><li>
Possess aptitudes to learn the basic of combustion, natural draft burners and all parts associated with automation of natural gas burning equipment.</li><li>
Able to read and comprehend technical operational manuals, do load studies and related calculations.</li><li>
Ability to apply a basic understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions, operations and duties.</li><li>
Ability to apply sound judgement and reasoning when dealing with any problem.</li><li>
Ability to apply moderate knowledge of computers and office equipment.</li><li>
Minimum of 1 year work experience in electrical, mechanical or construction</li><li>
Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and acceptable driving record to operate company vehicle.</li><li>
High School Diploma Required, or equivalent.</li><li>

Position Summary
Anderson Powersports is seeking a Master Powersports Off-Road Technician to join our growing service department. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technician who takes pride in their craft, enjoys solving complex mechanical problems, and wants to be part of a professional, high-performing shop environment.
We are currently preparing for the expansion of our new 18-bay service facility, and we are looking for technicians who want to grow with us and help build one of the strongest powersports service departments in the region.
The Master Technician serves as a technical leader within the shop, performing advanced diagnostics and repairs while assisting other technicians with complex issues. This position requires expert-level mechanical knowledge, strong diagnostic ability, and a commitment to quality workmanship and team success.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on off-road powersports vehicles including ATVs, UTVs, dirt bikes, and side-by-sides</li><li>
Perform advanced troubleshooting on engines, drivetrains, suspension systems, fuel systems, and electrical systems</li><li>
Complete engine rebuilds, transmission repairs, and performance upgrades</li><li>
Utilize manufacturer diagnostic tools and service manuals to accurately identify and resolve issues</li><li>
Assist and mentor other technicians with difficult diagnostics and repairs</li><li>
Conduct final quality inspections on completed repairs to ensure safety, reliability, and proper operation</li><li>
