Our By Light Implementation team, the premier provider of innovative Information Technology (IT) services and communications support to the Department of Defense and Federal Agencies is growing. Required Experience/Qualifications:
<ul><li>BS degree in Computer Science, Education, Training, or equivalent work experience</li><li>
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in technical instruction, with an emphasis on computer networking and cybersecurity. Strong understanding of computer networking principles, including TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, firewalls, and LAN/WAN configurations.</li><li>
Must possess or be willing to obtain an IAT Level II or III certification within 6 months.</li><li>
Proven experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate or government setting with regards to IT and networks</li><li>
Extensive knowledge in instructional design theory and learning principles</li><li>

This individual must promote and actively participate in activities and projects while working effectively with staff. They need to bring lesson plans to life for the campers through participation, support, and guidance.</b><br>

<p>An incumbent is responsible for conducting and/or teaching workshops, seminars and/or courses, evaluating participants, and developing and implementing curricula. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for providing individual tutoring, advisement, and/or counseling services to the Workforce Development and Community Education Division participants/students, as well as providing support for division activities.</p><br>

<div><div><b>Nature and Scope</b></div>
<p>An incumbent typically reports to an appropriate Workforce Development and Community Education supervisor/administrator. Duties include a variety of accountabilities pertaining to planning, organizing, and conducting workshops, seminars, and/or courses, and providing tutoring, advisement, and/or counseling services to Workforce Development and Community Education participants/students. In addition, an incumbent is to assist in other Workforce Development and Community Education activities, e.g., recruitment, job placement, and support services for participants/students, as assigned.</p><br>

<div><div><b>Principal Accountabilities</b></div>
<div><p>An incumbent may perform any combination of the below listed accountabilities:</p>
<p>
1. Conducts and/or teaches workshops, seminars, and/or courses as assigned, utilizing effective communications, classroom/workshop management, leadership, training, and teaching techniques.</p>
<p>
2. Develops new programs, workshops/seminars and/or courses and syllabi. Evaluates programs, courses, workshops/seminars and/or courses, including syllabi, teaching methods, materials, equipment, and facilities; revises existing programs, workshops/seminars and/or courses as assigned.</p>
<p>
3. Selects, maintains, and uses materials, supplies, and equipment required for effective teaching, facilitating, and training.</p>
<p>
4. Maintains adequate participant/student records, including intake test results, and counseling notes; evaluates and reports participants&rsquo; progress and/or attendance. Prepares and submits evaluations as required.</p>
<p>
5. Provides objective advisement and tutoring of participant/students as necessary to assist in successful completion of the program.</p>
<p>
6. Schedules, posts, and maintains office hours to aid in participant&rsquo;s progress.</p>
<p>
7. Works as a team with other faculty and staff to facilitate routine department operations and achieve departmental goals and objectives. Assists in attaining program accreditation.</p>
<p>
8. Participates in departmental/campus/College meetings and serves on committees, as required.</p>
<p>
9. Participates in professional development in-service programs.</p>
<p>
10. Assists as requested in developing proposal/department/program budget, establishing and maintaining effective public relations, and facilitating routine department operations.</p>

11. Assists with extra-curricular client activities as requested.</p>
<p>

<div><p><b>Stone - Field and Support Training Specialist
</b></p><p>A Field and Support Trainer for Stone Security focuses on an assigned local office (i.e. Salt Lake City) instructing, evaluating, and mentoring operations and support personnel on the full range of programing and installations, to include safety protocols and site-specific procedures. This position bridges the gap between classroom theory and real-world application, offering hands-on training and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This individual specializes in Lenel S2 access control programs and all hardware regarding access control installations. They are an expert in Axis cameras and Milestone VMS programing and deployments. The field trainer also has expertise in intrusion systems programing and installations.</p><p><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><b>
On-the-Job Training (OJT):</b> Provides direct, field-based &ldquo;shoulder to shoulder&rdquo; instruction and classroom instruction for new hires and ongoing training for current staff. Training focuses on the assigned local office.</li><li><b>
Curriculum Training:</b> Works under and used curriculum provided by the training department, works with our core vendors/products to ensure our technicians are certified in access control, video management systems and intrusion systems and other systems as necessary.</li><li><b>
Local Focus:</b> Works closely with the GM of the assigned local office (as strong dotted -line report) to address the training needs of the office personnel.</li><li><b>
Performance Evaluation:</b> Assesses technician proficiency to identify where knowledge and skill level is lacking and provides necessary training to include, Access Control systems, Video management systems and intrusion systems.</li><li><b>
Compliance &amp; Safety:</b> Trains technicians on best practices and safety for on-the-job installations. Trains on safety requirements and assists in setting up training classes to get all technicians safety certified in each required discipline ensuring adherence to state regulations.
</li><li><b>Mentorship</b>: Provides expert level resources to assist new employees or any technician in the SLC office, or on the project teams with direction, training and experience.
</li><li><b>Communication:</b> Displays exceptional communication with all stakeholders, external and internal
</li><li><b>Scheduling and Coordination: </b>Maintains training schedules and coordinates with other departments</li><li><b>
Continual Improvement:</b> Suggests updates and improvements to curriculum and training procedures to the training department
</li><li><b>Tracking and Record keeping:</b> For formalized training, tracks completions in BearCom University. Keeps local records of training attendance and completion.
</li><li>While maintaining a local focus, may assist the training department with broader efforts on occasion.
</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Qualifications &amp; Skills</b></p><ul><li>
Expert level on all the core products and programs currently offered by Stone Security. 5+ years of experience in the field installing and troubleshooting.</li><li>
Strong ability to teach, mentor, and communicate effectively in teaching other people from various backgrounds.</li><li>
Capability to handle diverse situations and trainee needs.
</li><li>Ability to engage with all levels of management</li><li>
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint).
</li><li>Strong technical abilities knowledge of relevant technology and tools, i.e., access control, video surveillance, and intrusion.</li><li>
Write, read, interpret, explain and act based on a thorough understanding of technical documents, engineering materials and contracts or related documents
</li><li>Make professional sales and business presentations in writing, through email, reports, or orally, including complex business and technical matters to an audience of high technical skills, management, and operational experience
</li><li>Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking
</li><li>Drug screenings and background checks are part of the hiring process, which may include a Motor Vehicle Record check</li><li>
