Major accountabilities of Position:
<ul><li>An experienced and highly skilled Senior Telecom Engineer to deliver Detail Engineering offshore oil and gas projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced Telecommunication systems and equipment in complex, large-scale projects.
</li><li>Carry out Studies, development and detailed design engineering activities pertaining to Telecommunication systems and sub-system, including co-ordination with the various discipline groups in an engineering consultancy organization. The preferred areas of expertise within Telecommunication systems are: Offshore Telecommunication networks (SDH/OTN/DWDM/Gigabit Ethernet etc), Wireless digital communication systems (HF, VHF, UHF, Tetra and spread spectrum etc.), serial communication systems, CCTV systems, Information Systems and Telephone/Data Networks and structured cabling, PA/GA Systems, Access Control Systems.
</li><li>This position requires deep technical knowledge, leadership ability, and the capacity to work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project delivery meets industry standards and specifications.
</li><li>Develop discipline work plans. Overall supervision of Telecom engineers, designers and technical personnel in the execution of the project and development of project deliverables.
</li><li>Provide technical expertise and support in the specification, design, and selection of Telecom systems.
</li><li>Manage all aspects of Telecommunication engineering on assigned projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource planning and risk management.
</li><li>Manage design change within project budget and schedule framework. Work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration and timely completion of the project.
</li><li>Oversee the preparation of design deliverables and ensure compliance with project requirements.
</li><li>Effective interaction with client engineering team for approval of design deliverables.
</li><li>Represent organizational competency and capabilities at various forums.

</li><li>Preparation of Modification Scope of Work for Existing Telecom system.
</li><li>Participation in site survey and data collection for Telecom design.
</li><li>Participation in various Workshops such as Design reviews, Risk review, Value engineering, constructability etc.
</li><li>Good understanding of HSE requirements of both self and within the discipline team.
</li><li>Ensuring technical integrity of the Telecom deliverables for the project. In particular ensure compliance with the work scope and with applicable international standards.

 Are you the candidate we are looking for?
 
 (Requirements for the role) You have:

 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 A strong foundation in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, demonstrated through both professional experience and academic pursuits.
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluency in a modern backend language such as Golang, Rust, Java/Kotlin, or Python.
 </li>
 <li>
 A firm grasp of algorithms, data structures, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to iterate quickly with teammates, incorporate feedback, and hold a high bar for quality.
