<p>
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered care in a Telemetry / Stroke unit setting. The RN is responsible for evaluating patients, assisting physicians, and delivering high-quality nursing care based on individualized patient needs.</p>
<p>
This role requires strong clinical judgment, telemetry competency, and adherence to evidence-based nursing practices.</p>

<li><p>Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans</p>
</li>
<li><p>Provide therapeutic nursing interventions</p>
</li>
<li><p>Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and stroke-related symptoms</p>
</li>
<li><p>Manage care of telemetry and stroke patients</p>
</li>
<li><p>Document patient care in accordance with standards of practice and acuity</p>
</li>
<li><p>Prioritize patient needs based on assessment and clinical condition</p>
</li>
<li><p>Advocate for evidence-based practice standards</p>
</li>
<li><p>Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes</p>

<li><p>Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives</p>

Set-rate drips in use including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Labetalol, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Heparin, Integrilin per protocol, and Nitro; no titrating drips currently</li><li>

Philips Cardiac Monitors in use; nurses document rhythm strips every 4 hours in the patient chart</li><li>
