Responsibilities:

The Receptionist is responsible for providing excellent customer service and public relations needed for quality care and services to all customers. Other responsibilities include answering and transferring all incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner, serving as an information resource, and performing a variety of administrative duties as assigned.</div>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>High school graduate preferred.</li><li>
Three (3) months to twelve (12) months work as a receptionist is desired.</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.</li><li>
Experience with various office equipment such as copy machines, multi-line phones, postage meter, fax machines, etc.</li><li>
Demonstrated computer proficiency and experience in various programs including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Publisher and Word is desired.</li><li>
Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.</li></ul>
Pay Range: The estimated starting pay range for this role is $19.09 - $20.59 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS&rsquo;s typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon many factors including each individual employee&rsquo;s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change. Benefits:

Position Summary</b></h2>
<p>
The receptionist will help welcome guests and clients to Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio&rsquo;s main office at MidPointe Tower. The receptionist will be part of a team of individuals who cover the front desk and manage the main phone line throughout the work week, Monday through Friday. This position will normally cover 15 &ndash; 20 hours per week.</p>
<h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Essential Job Function:</b></h2>
<ul><li>Welcome diverse guests, with various language needs, at the reception window with courtesy and kindness; help them connect with the person or program they are seeking.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with various staff members across the agency to ensure clients and visitors are assisted in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Receive and sign for deliveries; call or inform the recipient of a delivery.</li>
<li>Answer the main agency phone number; transfer calls to agency personnel or refer callers to external resources.</li>
<li>Review agency voicemail regularly and forward calls to agency personnel or make call backs to connect people to appropriate resources.</li>
<li>Assist with the sorting and distribution of agency mail, as needed.</li>
<li>Open and close the reception area.</li>
<li>Provide administrative assistance on projects as assigned.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Minimum Qualifications and Skills Required:</b></h2>
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent work experience.</li>
