Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Completes all required documentation accurately, in a timely manner, and thoroughly in accordance with department standards. Assists in preparing reports as required.</li><li>
Conducts initial and on-going assessment of client's health and/or support service needs. Sets level of client need.</li><li>
Creates formalized case plans and goals with clients; clients are high-need and require more intense services. Develops a written care-plan with the client, identifying problems and needs. Plan includes areas assessed, intended interventions, and expected results in measurable terms, with short and long term goals. Updates plan as client's needs change.</li><li>
Provides therapeutic interventions to clients. Provides intensive individual support to high need clients. Support may include providing therapeutic interventions, providing internal and community services referrals, and more intensive support may include accompanying clients to housing services, appointments, social services, etc. Focus on medical adherence, support, and appointments designed to maintaining necessary care.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

Position Summary

Research the various services offered within the community to identify services that would best meet the unique and individual needs of youth and families. Collaborate with the youth, the youth's family, and other professionals involved to develop a treatment/service plan that addresses the specific needs of the youth including, facilitating, and leading the treatment team meetings.

Qualifications
21 years old or older. Criminal/Child Abuse Clearance: Must pass criminal record and child abuse registry background check as required by the State of Montana. Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in human services related field of study. A combination of previous professional experience and formal education from an accredited university may be considered in lieu of degree. Knowledge of and ability to maintain professional therapeutic boundaries and confidentiality with youth and families.

Overview
The Therapist provides clinical recovery-focused services to clients with mental illness and substance abuse problems, if present. Performs diagnostic assessments and formulates diagnoses. The Mental Health Clinician in the Case Management Department completes screenings, assessments and treatment plans, and carries out individual treatment plans for clients on their assigned caseload. Services include psychotherapy, individual skills training, assistance with accessing entitlements, and crisis interventions. Agency vehicles are available to transport clients as required. We are looking for a Mental Health Clinician with organizational and time management skills as well as therapeutic intervention skills. 
Qualifications
This position requires a Master's degree in a behavioral science, an understanding of co-occurring disorders, and related experience.
Experience with substance abuse treatment for dually diagnosed clients preferred.
Must be a QMHP on the Mental Health &amp; Addictions Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO) registry.
