Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated case manager to join our detox team. This role is essential in providing support and guidance to individuals undergoing detoxification. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic modalities and demonstrate a commitment to helping clients achieve their recovery goals.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform comprehensive patient assessments to develop tailored treatment plans.</li><li>Facilitate crisis management and provide direct support to clients experiencing acute distress.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical documentation, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.</li><li>Provide education and resources related to addiction counseling, mental health, and behavioral health issues.</li><li>Participate in case management activities, ensuring continuity of care for clients transitioning from inpatient to outpatient services.</li></ul>Skills The successful candidate will possess the following skills:<ul><li>Proficiency in case management services</li><li>Case management, organization, and multitasking</li><li>Knowledge of FMLA and short-term disability processes</li><li>Clear communication with clients, employers, and providers</li><li>Employer coordination and return-to-work planning</li><li>Familiarity with legal documentation, compliance, and court procedures</li><li>Client advocacy and needs assessment</li><li>Attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: From $28.00 per hourApplication Question(s):<ul><li>What is your availability?</li><li>What is your experience working in treatment setting as case manager?</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Woodland Hills, CA 91367 (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
