The Alignment Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and correcting alignment and suspension issues to ensure proper vehicle handling and safety. This includes aligning wheels, axles, frames, and steering components using precision alignment equipment and performing related repairs as needed. The role also involves mounting and balancing tires, conducting vehicle inspections, and completing general service work. The technician utilizes specialized tools and equipment to restore proper alignment, maintain vehicle performance, and deliver quality service to every customer. </h2><div><ul><li>Aligns wheels, axles, frames, torsion bars, and steering mechanisms of automotive vehicles using alignment equipment and manufacturer specifications.
</li><li>Drives vehicles onto alignment racks and conducts tests to identify issues such as faulty alignments, bent axles, worn ball joints, and damaged steering components.
</li><li>Performs necessary repair and adjustment work based on diagnostic findings.
</li><li>Mounts and dismounts tires; balances wheels using a balancing machine and installs counterweights to ensure smooth operation.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

General Description:

Brake &amp; Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Primary Responsibilities:</h3>
Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services. Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Experience:</h3>

Qualifications:
</h3>Valid driver&rsquo;s license; excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment; frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.<h1 class="jobSectionHeader">
Pay and Benefits:</h1>
$16.50 - $26.45
