We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our organization as Global Trade Analyst (Remote). In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our compliance with regulations and maintaining the highest standards of ethical business practices. Responsibilities</b></h2><p>
The Global Trade Analyst will:</p><ul><li>
Determine the correct classification for imported goods by researching and interpreting the HTSUS schedules, customs rulings, General Rules of Interpretation (GRI), Explanatory Notes (EN), and trade agreements.</li><li>
Maintain Clark&rsquo;s Product Classification Database (PCD)</li><li>
Support and guide cross functional teams on import compliance matters, including but not limited to, Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), INCOTERMS, valuation, and country of origin/marking and Partner Government Agencies (PGA) requirements.
</li><li>Conduct Denied/Restricted Party Screening of new vendors and or all other parties associated with Clark&rsquo;s imports.</li><li>
Perform post entry summary audits to ensure data and document accuracy and initiate entry corrections e.g., Post-Summary Correction (PSC), Protests, and Prior Disclosure filings as needed.</li><li>
Contribute to maintaining SOPs and work instructions.</li><li>
Design and maintain reporting frameworks and dashboards that provide visibility into compliance metrics, duty exposure, and operational performance.</li><li>
Streamline workflows and implement systemic solutions that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across global trade operations.</li><li>
Liaise with customs brokers and cross-functional teams to streamline Clark's import compliance program.</li><li>
Assist in developing and conducting internal stakeholders&rsquo; training on Import Compliance regulations.</li><li>
Provide subject matter expertise and training to internal stakeholders on data-driven compliance</li><li>
Perform other duties and projects as assigned, in support of import, product and legal teams.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Allyn International is in search of a Global Trade Consultant to grow in our Trade Department in either of our 3 locations in the US (Greenville, SC - Fort Myers, FL - Scotia, NY). What will the Global Trade Consultant do?
<br><br>
The Global Trade Consultant is responsible for assisting the department’s day-to-day operations, having an immediate impact on business fulfillment, client relations, and the achievement of long-term departmental goals and objectives. This position works with the Senior Global Trade Consultant and Global Trade Compliance Director to ensure that standard processes and relevant metrics are in place, and are used to improve customer service, reduce or contain costs, and increase the productivity of the department. The Global Trade Consultant has primary responsibility for prompt issue resolution and acting as backup to the Senior Global Trade Consultant on trade matters as requested.

<b>Required Experience and Education:</b><br>

<li>Must currently hold or is pending a US Customs Broker License certification. Documentation of passing the US Customs Broker License examination required</li>

<b>Responsibilities:</b><br>
<ul>
<li>Assist in managing escalations</li>
<li>Provide consultation on customs issues and provide timely feedback to clients</li>
<li>Prepare and execute training for internal team members or external customers / suppliers</li>
<li>Act as back up to the Senior Global Trade Consultant on trade matters as requested</li>
<li>Facilitate prompt issue resolution and oversee issue resolution within department. Timely forward suggested corrective actions or issues needing additional attention to the Senior Global Trade Consultant and Global Trade Compliance Director</li>
<li>Run standard reports and metrics on a regular basis. Analyze and review findings with Senior Global Trade Consultant and Global Trade Compliance Director</li>
<li>Ensure client satisfaction</li>

<li>Travel to client locations as needed</li>
<li>Participate in sales, marketing and business development included but not limited to cold calls and sales trips</li>

<li>Assist Senior Global Trade Consultant and Global Trade Compliance Director in providing creative and informative content for corporate marketing campaigns</li>
<li>Provide guidance and issue resolution to peers and direct reports</li>
<li>Provide leadership support to a small team of 1-2 direct reports including administrative responsibilities</li>
<li>Act as primary account/client lead for specified clients or functions</li>
</ul>
Additional Notes
<br>Capable of domestic and international travel; proper travel documentation required. Available to work flexible and on-call hours to include weekends/holiday hours when necessary.
