Position Summary 
The Traffic Control Supervisor II is responsible for overseeing and executing traffic control and safety operations for assigned projects. This includes setting up, monitoring, and removing lane closures on state highways and other roadways, redirecting traffic for workers or survey crews, and ensuring all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations. The Supervisor leads traffic control crews, ensures job site safety, mentors team members, and manages project documentation. This role also involves transporting equipment and safety products to and from job sites. 
 
Essential Functions</div>
<ul><li>Operate company vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.</li>
<li>Lead daily traffic control crews, including Traffic Control Technicians and Flaggers, with demonstrated leadership and advanced knowledge of traffic control.</li>
<li>Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company policies.</li>
<li>Deliver daily toolbox talks and job-specific safety training to crew members.</li>
<li>Mentor and train new hires in proper traffic control and safety procedures.</li>
<li>Ensure all timesheets, work tickets, and job documentation are completed accurately and submitted daily.</li>
<li>Operate MOT (Management of Traffic) and TMA (Truck Mounted Attenuator) vehicles on job sites to protect workers and work zones.</li>
<li>Set up, monitor, and remove temporary construction signs, arrow boards, variable message boards, traffic cones, and other traffic safety devices.</li>
<li>Inspect work zones throughout the shift to ensure proper placement of traffic control devices and overall site safety.</li>
<li>Install, remove, and reset delineators, signs, posts, and supports as needed.</li>
<li>Perform shop duties including general maintenance and repair of traffic control equipment.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate inventory of traffic control devices and related materials.</li>
<li>Travel to various job sites as required, including occasional overnight stays.</li>

 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 This includes continuous traffic monitoring, inputting hourly traffic counts, managing controller rest and break schedules in compliance with AR 95-2 and TC 3-04.15, and making informed decisions based on real-time data. Responsible to the facility chief for the efficiency of facility operations. They also perform normal ATC duties in addition to those of the Shift Supervisor. The responsibilities are:

 Ensure interfacility coordination lines, crash/alert phones and all emergency lines are monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

 Conducts position qualification evaluations when directed by the facility chief/training supervisor but are restricted from conducting biennial skill evaluations.

Salary range: The hourly amount for this position can be found at the top of this posting. This role is covered by the Service Contract Act. BASIC FUNCTION

Ensure daily operational performance goals are met by providing direct/tactical leadership for the labor force in the passenger terminal areas through service, maintenance, collections, and communication, to improve productivity, vend quality, and the customer experience. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staff for effective performance of activities and response to fluctuating workloads.</li>
<li>Maintain a safe working environment by monitoring safety procedures and equipment.</li>
<li>Perform the same Cart Associate work duties as those supervised, including but limited to:</li>
<li><ul><li>collect and transport carts to ensure carts are available for customer use;</li>
<li>provide customer service to airport passengers;</li>
<li>light cleaning of carts and rental equipment;</li>
</ul></li><li>Collaborate with workers and managers to solve work-related problems.</li>
<li>Review work throughout the work process and at completion to ensure that it has been performed properly.</li>
<li>Explain regulations, policies, or procedures</li>
<li>Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints</li>
<li>Maintain excellent communication and cooperation with employees, facility management, airline management and other government officials (CBP, TSA, FBI, etc.)</li>
<li>Inspect equipment; carts, CMU&rsquo;s, Cushman&rsquo;s, etc., perform emergency maintenance or take equipment out of service, report maintenance needs</li>
<li>Assist with collections, counting/recording money, documenting meter readings</li>
<li>Assess training needs of staff and arrange for or provide appropriate instruction</li>
