</b></div><div>The Traffic Control Technician is responsible for setting up and taking down lane closures and ensuring the safety of assigned traffic control projects. <ul><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License.</li>
<li>1-3 years of experience and 2,000 in field hours in traffic control.</li>
<li>Must be able to pass a background check, including motor vehicle records check.</li>
<li>Must successfully pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.</li>
<li>Wear proper safety equipment (work boots with safety toe, hard hat, safety glasses, and safety vest).</li>
<li>Basic reading and writing ability to comply with road signs, complete paperwork, and knowledge of federal and state motor carrier safety regulations.</li>
<li>Must be able to read plans and ensure traffic control plans are implemented and maintained.</li>
<li>Good knowledge of state and local roadways and experience operating delivery vehicles of varying sizes.</li>
<li>Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds.</li>
<li>Must successfully complete the ATSSA TCT intermediate training course.</li>
<li>Willingness to travel statewide, with occasional overnight stays, and ability to work nights and weekends as required by projects.</li>
<li>Must be available for a rotating on-call schedule.</li>
<li>Mechanical background/experience (preferred).</li>
