Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Transcriptionist provides a variety of clerical duties, including medical transcription, to physicians and other members of the clinic.
SUPERVISOR: Practice Manager
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
<ul><li>Transcribes dictated material, producing an average of at least 138 lines per hour.
</li><li>Meets production standards and maintains error of 3% or less.
</li><li>Edits reports in the system.
</li><li>Queues and transcribes all requests for STAT transcription as needed.
</li><li>Charts transcribed reports once a shift.
</li><li>Logs, prints, and maintains reports.
</li><li>Follows through with assignments and informs supervisor if unable to complete task.
</li><li>Maintains the strictest confidentiality.
</li><li>Perform other duties as required.
</li><li>Must read and understand and adhere to all Physician Services policies and procedures.
</li><li>Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Values statements.
