<div>SUMMARY:
The Transportation Manager is responsible for oversight of the transportation depot(s) within area of responsibility. This includes management of the Transportation Coordinators, Transportation Lead Drivers, and Transportation Drivers. The Transportation Manager will oversee several logistical activities related to transporting our senior citizens to and from various appointments and activities, and regular, timely delivery of various items. This role requires a strong passion for internal and external customer service, and relationship-building, all related to providing the best-in-class, concierge-level care for our program participants within PACE Southeast Michigan.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>
Plan and manage the transportation of program participants to and from the Day Health Center</li><li>
Plan and manage the transportation of program participants to medical appointments within the Day Health Center</li><li>
Facilitate weekly staff huddles<ul><li>
Cultivate healthy bottom-up communication from team members to communicate appropriate information regarding participant tolerance while riding on PACE Southeast Michigan vehicles and/or other related concerns</li><li>
Cultivate healthy top-down communication from leadership to team members to communicate updates as necessary</li></ul></li><li>
Must participate as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) daily and collaborate to ensure best-in-class care for program participants</li><li>
Participate in the monthly All Leadership Team meeting to provide updates on the department to the extended leadership team</li><li>
Direct orientation of new employees in the transportation department; ensure that new employees are educated on all transportation policies and procedures and receive the necessary experience to complete the Trainee Checklist within the first month of employment</li><li>
Maintain established departmental and system policies, procedures, and objectives, including but not limited to the following: Quality assurance program, Safety, Environmental and Infection control standards</li><li>
Schedule and facilitate focused monthly trainings with all transportation staff and hold staff members accountable to attend meetings and in-services</li><li>
Responsible for the human resources function within area of responsibility which includes but is not limited to the following: hiring, developing, training, and coaching of the transportation staff</li><li>
As needed, ensure all driver credentials are submitted timely to Human Resources. Credentials include but are not limited to: Valid, unrestricted, Michigan Commercial Driver's License (Class B, Passenger endorsement), Valid CPR Certification, and Valid DOT Medical Card</li><li>
Ensure that all staff always observes all traffic laws and regulations and reports any violations. Communicate necessary information regarding traffic violations or accidents/incidents to Safety, Fleet, and Training Coordinator</li><li>
Assist staff in reporting and recording participant feedback using Improve PACE Forms (IPF)<ul><li>
Root cause, resolve and follow up appropriately on transportation-related challenges reported by program participants and transportation staff within regulatory time frame</li></ul></li><li>
Proactively engage in process improvement to create new policies/processes and revise existing policies/processes to address transportation challenges.</li><li>
Ensure transportation staff completes any necessary documentation logs concerning vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, vehicle maintenance and safety maintenance<ul><li>
Maintain current pre-trip, post-trip, vehicle maintenance and safety maintenance logs as required by record retention schedule</li></ul></li><li>
Assure that all vehicles are kept in safe and satisfactory working order according to vehicle maintenance schedules</li><li>
Participate in and assist staff in completion of all necessary annual mandatory training and competency testing with regard to the performance of job duties</li><li>
In conjunction with the Director of Transportation, develop and monitor the budget related to the Transportation Department</li><li>
Develop and maintain transportation metrics as assigned</li><li>
Conduct semi-annual and annual performance reviews for all transportation staff</li><li>
Oversee and approve payroll time sheets bi-weekly</li><li>
Performs other related duties as necessary, assigned or requested by Director of Transportation</li></ul>

<div>Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a visionary and strategic thinker for the position of Senior Director - Transport Strategy. This role is crucial in shaping the transportation framework for our groundbreaking entertainment destination, ensuring that all transport systems support the connectivity and accessibility of Qiddiya for both visitors and residents alike.
As the Senior Director of Transport Strategy, you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive transport strategy that aligns with Qiddiya's overarching goals, facilitating seamless mobility across the project. You will collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams to establish innovative and sustainable transport solutions that enhance visitor experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities<ul>
<li>Lead transport modelling centrally to ensure consistency across Qiddiya and inform development controls.</li>
<li>Lead (at City level) the provision of Transport data to Transport projects to inform system design.</li>
<li>Lead (at City level) the phasing plan and measurement against capacity of networks to inform when roads and transport systems need to be activated to meet development phasing.</li>
<li>Lead (at City level) engagement with key stakeholders to ensure integration with regional mobility.</li>
<li>Lead (at City level) the informing and testing of development controls via Traffic Impact Studies at district, asset or precinct level.</li>
<li>Lead all internal and external governance (including any authority or government agency) interactions including (but not limited to) those required for approvals, stakeholder interaction etc.</li>
<li>Lead all activities required to undertake your responsibilities, including (but not limited to) consultant procurement, management and contract management, committee presentations, gateway approvals etc.</li>
<li>Lead preparations for opening and operational readiness scenarios specific to transport modes.</li>
<li>Lead the preparation of impact assessments as a result of changes or other factors, including the impacts on cost, time and quality.</li>
<li>Lead the support of all other job families as necessary.</li>
<li>Lead the quarterly update of the Qiddiya Strategic Transport Model.</li>
<li>Lead the maintenance, improvement and evolution of the Qiddiya Strategic Transport Model such that it is fit for the purpose of guiding development activities.</li>
<li>Lead the preparation of transport policies across Qiddiya, including (but not limited to) the approach to Operational Logistic delivery times, Congestion/Zero Emission Zone Charging, Autonomous vehicles, Artificial Intelligence, Flexible/Remote working, EV Charging, Airspace, Fare Collection, Construction deliveries, Transport maintenance etc.</li>
<li>Lead the strategy for maximising customer transport experience, and review of all submissions to ensure these are being maximised.</li>
<li>Lead the strategy for operational logistics and review of all submissions to ensure these are being maximised.</li>
<li>Lead the strategy for event planning (Minor and Major) and review of all submissions to ensure these are being maximised.</li>
<li>Lead the strategy for airspace management and review of all submissions to ensure these are being maximised.</li>
<li>Lead the strategy for future mobility and review of all submissions to ensure these are being maximised.</li>
<li>Lead the independent technical review of all transport departures or relaxations, to provide clear recommendations to the business for acceptance or otherwise.</li>
<li>Lead the management of the Mobility City Framework reports, guidelines, codes and standards and plans to ensure consistency of information and betterment as necessary.</li>
<li>Lead internal processes and policy to ensure consistency of design applications.</li>
<li>Lead the management of regional mobility authority stakeholder relationships and ensure integration with regional systems.</li> 
</ul> 
 
Requirements 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Transport Engineering, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).</li>
<li>A minimum of 15 years of experience in transport strategy, planning, or a related field, particularly in large-scale urban projects.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of transportation systems, mobility trends, and best practices in transport planning.</li>
<li>Proven ability to lead complex projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders and governmental agencies.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with a focus on problem-solving.</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively present ideas and influence stakeholders.</li>
<li>Experience with sustainable transport principles and innovations in transportation technology.</li>
<li>Proficiency in transport planning software and modeling tools.</li></ul></div>
