Under the direction of the Project Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent is directly responsible for coordinating and supervising the assigned on-site construction activities in accordance with project documents, safety and schedule.</p><p></p><p><b>
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENTS</b></p><p></p><p><b>
Schedule</b></p><ul><li><p>
Manage daily production schedules and maintain documentation, field notes, punch-lists, hot list, lessons learned, etc.</p></li><li><p>
Assists with the scheduling and coordination of subcontractors and materials.</p></li><li><p>
As directed, assist the Project Superintendent in maintaining &amp; updating schedule documents, scheduling inspections, subcontractors, etc.</p></li><li><p>
Schedule specifically assigned trades/subs (with oversight from Project Superintendent).</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Quality</b></p><ul><li><p>
Supervise specifically assigned construction activities to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design and project commitments while maintaining professionalism, integrity and ethical conduct at all times.</p></li><li><p>
Perform frequent and ongoing review of all plans, contract scopes, submittals, RFIs, etc.</p></li><li><p>

Assist in sequencing of field operations, staging of materials and resources.</p></li><li><p>

Manage emails and Outlook folders, hard copy files, etc.</p></li><li><p>
As directed, assist the Project Superintendent with managing the private consultant reports and answering to each consultant&rsquo;s list of deficiencies, closing all open items.

Write and execute punch lists (as many times as it takes), re-walk the list(s) and verify that 100% of all items have been completed.</p></li><li><p>
Communicates with the Project Superintendent daily to discuss the project status and any problems that arise.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>
SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES</b></p><p></p><p><b>
Education:</b>
</p><ul><li><p>Graduation from high school, with diploma.
</p></li><li><p>Education in construction or related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Experience:</b></p><ul><li><p>
Minimum of 2 years of experience managing the construction of multi-family projects with stable employment history and proven track record.
