We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mobile Clinical Research Phlebotomist to support clinical research studies by conducting in-home visits with study participants. In this role, you will perform blood draws, collect biological specimens, and complete study procedures according to clinical research protocols.

This position is ideal for phlebotomists who are comfortable working independently, traveling to patient homes, and providing a professional, patient-centered experience while supporting important clinical research.

Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Conduct in-home visits with clinical trial participants according to study schedules
</li>
<li>Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens following study protocols and safety guidelines
</li>
<li>Process, label, and prepare specimens for shipment to central laboratories
</li>
<li>Accurately document study procedures and visit details
</li>
<li>Maintain compliance with study protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
</li>
<li>Maintain proper chain of custody for biological specimens
</li>
<li>Ensure participant safety, privacy, and comfort during home visits
</li>
<li>Communicate with clinical research coordinators and study teams as needed
</li>
<li>Manage and maintain phlebotomy and specimen collection supplies
</li>
<li>Follow all infection control and safety procedures

<li>High school diploma or equivalent
</li>
<li>Phlebotomy certification from an accredited program
</li>
<li>Minimum 1&ndash;2 years of phlebotomy experience

<li>Demonstrated experience performing venipuncture on diverse patient populations
</li>
<li>Reliable transportation and ability to travel to participant homes
</li>
<li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record
</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills
</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule

As a Specimen Collector Phlebotomist:<ul><li>
Collect patient blood, urine and/or oral fluid (saliva) specimens</li><li>
Process and package collections for shipping</li><li>
Serve as an intermediary between the practice / clinic and the laboratory</li><li>
Record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information</li><li>
Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal</li><li>
Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite</li><li>
Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens (when applicable)</li><li>
Driving from/to multiple facilities may be required</li></ul> 

Requirements 
Ideal Candidate:
<ul><li>Certified phlebotomist with 1+ year experience in the field (experience considered in place of certificate)</li><li>
6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years of experience in the medical field, directly supporting patients preferred</li><li>
2+ years of customer service experience can be considered in place of medical experience</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to navigate a smart phone and computer required</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license required; reliable transportation</li><li>
Medical insurance/billing and/or familiarity with medications/diagnostic codes is a plus</li><li>
High School diploma or equivalent required</li><li>
Physical requirements: sitting 60%, walking 20%, standing 20%, lifting up to 20 lbs</li></ul>
