<div>Job Summary: Diagnoses, repairs, reconditions, and adjusts key systems and components of trucks and related equipment.

Senior-level position &ndash; Generally has more than six years of experience and/or demonstrated job relevant knowledge/skills. A level three technician has a broad knowledge of the field&rsquo;s standard and technical concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of standard, complex, and technical tasks; is self-starting and requires minimal supervision.
The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.

Essential Functions:
<ul>
<li>Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission</li>
<li>Troubleshoots and diagnoses complex engine malfunctions and failures with direction and minimum supervision</li>
<li>Performs detailed engine and related equipment repairs on trucks and trailers with direction and minimum supervision</li>
<li>Disassembles, inspects, determines parts required, and reassembles to factory specifications within TRGs
</li><li>Provides quality control/assurance inspections of completed tasks to include road testing</li>
<li>Uses computers and related software to assist in diagnosing and reprograming engines
</li><li>Completes documentation for service reports, timecards, parts requisition and returns</li>
<li>Interprets and utilizes information from operating, maintenance, online resources, and service manuals/bulletins</li>
<li>Operates equipment and vehicles with possession of all necessary licenses and certificates</li>
<li>Adheres to contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations</li>
<li>Maintains all company equipment, tools, and vehicle in a good, clean, and working order</li>
<li>Communicates job progress to supervisor and customer as needed</li>
<li>Works overtime as required by workload and customers&rsquo; needs</li>
<li>Projects professionalism with both internal and external customers, including personal appearance</li>
<li>Acts as a mentor and coach to lower level Technicians</li>
<li>Completes all assigned Technician Training Path courses and safety training</li>
<li>Consistently maintains an average rework of less than 0.5%</li>
<li>Ensures a positive average variance consistently</li>
<li>Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards</li>
<li>Requires regular and punctual employee attendance</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>

<li>Ability to meet all requirements as outlined in Leveling Description Guide to include; Basic Requirements, Electrical System, Engine Systems, and Rear Differential
</li><li>Ability to meet all technical and performance requirements for a level one and level two technician</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge of equipment and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance</li>
<li>Expert knowledge and proficiency with current computer software, related hardware, and electronic systems diagnostic tooling</li>

Education and Experience:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent, accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program required</li>
<li>Minimum of three years of experience required</li>
<li>CDL &ndash; Class A or B required</li>
<li> ASE &ndash; Medium/Heavy Truck Certification four or more preferred</li>
<li>AC Certification Required</li>
<li>Brake System Certification Required</li>
<li>Has met HDSI requirements for preceding Technician levels; Ability to model and teach Holt&rsquo;s VBL Culture</li>
<li>On-going Safety Training required</li>
