Position Overview
The Truck Service Assistant General Manager is a key leadership role supporting the General Manager in running a busy Truck Service Center. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>

Help recruit, train, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of diesel technicians and service staff.</li><li>
Enforce strict safety protocols, environmental regulations, company policies, and industry standards (OSHA, DOT, etc.).</li><li>
Monitor shop productivity, workflow, repair turnaround times, and customer satisfaction to drive continuous improvement.</li><li>

Qualifications<ul><li>
3&ndash;5+ years of progressive leadership experience in truck service, diesel repair shops, heavy equipment maintenance, or travel center truck care (preferred).</li><li>
Strong technical knowledge of heavy-duty truck and trailer systems, diagnostics, and repairs.</li><li>
Demonstrated success leading and developing technical teams in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.</li><li>
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle pressure and deliver exceptional service.</li><li>
Experience managing parts inventory, controlling costs, and working with shop management systems.</li><li>

Position Overview
The Heavy Paving Equipment/Diesel Mechanic (DOT) will work closely with the Milling, Asphalt, Trucking, and Maintenance Teams to ensure company-owned tools, equipment and vehicles are always maintained in good working order, consistent with direction provided by his/her direct manager.
The ideal candidate has experience with maintenance of diesel equipment, particularly relating to trucking machinery, as has knowledge of the asphalt and trucking industries. 
Key Responsibilities
<ul><li>Evaluate condition of defective tools, equipment and fleet vehicles located at the Yard, at construction job sites, or other locations such as roadsides; collaborate with the Equipment Manager in trouble shooting defective equipment and participate in discussions to arrive to solutions for dealing with defective items.</li><li>
For items requiring more extensive or unusual repairs, prepare an estimate of cost to complete repair and seek authorization to proceed from the Equipment Manager before commencing repair.</li><li>
Following a standard maintenance schedule developed collaboratively with the Equipment Manager, perform routine maintenance on company-owned tools, equipment and vehicles. Ensure that maintenance is performed on schedule, to standard and that accurate logs of such maintenance are kept up to date.</li><li>
Place approved orders for replacement parts with vendors; ensure that the Equipment Manager is informed of all such deliveries and that all associated paperwork is provided to the Equipment Manager in a timely manner.</li><li>
Before departing work each day, ensure that the shop area is neat, clean and orderly; all tools are stored in their proper place and the shop surfaces are free of trash and debris.</li><li>
Additional responsibilities as may be assumed or assigned from time to time in support of our company's effort to achieve client loyalty.</li></ul> 
Qualifications<ul><li>
Trade school or 3-5+ years of qualified experience</li><li>
Candidates must possess a Commercial Driver's License that is valid and clear, as well as corresponding clear MVR and FMCSA Clearinghouse Query.</li><li>
Must meet DOT employment requirements</li><li>
