Job Summary:
This position is under the direct supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager and is responsible for protection, safeguarding, and security of assets, personnel, customers and visitors to assigned sites. 
Job Duties:
Protect the interests of the client within the limits of the facility and to protect the lives and property of employees and visitors.
Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
Prepare reports on a daily basis as trained and turn them into the proper contacts.
Complete patrols as required by post orders
Monitor and control access to property as required by post orders.
Notify proper authorities in all cases of emergencies as outlined in the post orders.
Report all violations of company policy and local and federal laws as stated in the Employee Handbook. 
Additional Responsibilities:
Long hours standing up
Willingness to work extended hours 
There may be additional responsibilities as specifically required by the client and the assigned post. 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to maintain safe environment for officers, clients, vendors and employees.
Ability to deal tactfully with the public 
Minimum Requirements:
High School Graduate or GED
Must be 21 years of age.
Clean criminal background
Must be able to obtain state required licensing
Must be able to complete job duties of the position
 Must be physically able to walk and stand for extended hours
 Must be physically fit and able to lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs.
 Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Team in Mountain View, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:
<ul><li>Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites</li>
<li>Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education</li>
<li>Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams</li>
<li>Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service</li>
<li>Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise</li></ul>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.</li>
<li>Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.</li>
<li>Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or potential issues.</li>
<li>Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related risks, or emergencies to the appropriate personnel.</li>
<li>Assist visitors, patients, and staff as needed, offering directions and information while maintaining a professional presence.</li>
<li>Support emergency response activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns encountered during patrols.</li></ul>

Minimum Requirements:
<ul><li>Customer service experience is preferred.</li>
<li>A valid guard card or license is preferred.</li>
<li>Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.</li>
<li>Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.</li>
<li>Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.</li>
<li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.</li>
