Job Description</h1>
Essential Functions/Responsibilities<ul><li>Being able to manage a minimum of two patients per hour on average and be able to manage a minimum of three to four patients per hour during surge periods.</li><li>Ability to maintain quick pace in fast paced urgent care facility for duration of scheduled shift (8-12 hours except for meals/break time)</li><li>Facilitating any necessary diagnostic tests (e.g., CT, MRI, ultrasounds, etc.) and referrals to medical specialists for follow-up care via Aftercare</li><li>Providing compassionate care to our patients</li><li>Assisting the physician with basic patient care and medical procedures set-ups</li><li>Communicating with patients, pharmacies, and physicians over the phone under physician guidance</li><li>Helping maintain a clean, courteous, and professional working environment</li><li>Assist with training and acclimation of new hire scribes Qualifications</li><li>A High School Degree or GED</li><li>Friendly and professional with excellent bedside manner</li></ul>

Physical Requirements The job may require at times to lift light to moderate amounts of weight (e.g., boxes of medical/facility supplies) to assist team members. Job also requires ability to maintain a quick pace in fast paced urgent care medical facility for duration of scheduled shift minus meal/break time. Heavy computer use required.
Pay Range: $17.60 - $21.30 Hourly
The provided compensation range is based on industry standards and salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience and location of position.<h1 class="jobSectionHeader">

We are currently searching for a per-diem Advanced Practitioner to work in our Urgent Care clinic. Under the general direction of a collaborating primary care physician, responsible for providing preventative patient care in addition to assessing acute and chronic patient illnesses, planning and providing treatment programs and seeking consultation or referral as necessary.

The successful candidate will have received some formal training in suturing and be comfortable practicing in a fast-paced urgent care setting. Individual must be dedicated to the delivery of outstanding care and customer service to patients and their families; have excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to function autonomously in the care of challenging patients. Experience as an NP in urgent care or another type of emergency care is ideal, but not required.
