Position Summary:

The Utility Driver picks-up and delivers all product used in the delivery of the Meals on Wheels (MOW) program to clients, oversees the proper storage of product in the warehouse, stages and delivers orders to various departments and fills in, on a relief basis, in the delivery of meals to MOW Clients. Essential Responsibilities:

<li>Safely drive Agency vehicles up to 30 feet in length.</li>
<li>Pick up and deliver product, in a prompt and orderly fashion, while maintaining quality control measures as defined by management.</li>
<li>Assist with loading meals and other food product, along with other items that are needed for each day&rsquo;s delivery.</li>
<li>Assist in the delivery of product to clients when needed due to business activity and/or shortage of drivers.</li>

</ul>What We Need from You (Our Requirements):<ul><li>
Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Previous outdoor experience is a plus.</li><li>
Computer proficiency</li><li>
Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.</li><li>
Able to pass a drug screen (this is a safety-sensitive position).</li><li>
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record</li><li>
Able to work in a confined space; walk, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.</li><li>
Able to distinguish between colors used to identify wiring and mark underground utilities.</li><li>
Able to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, as well as maps and prints.</li><li>
Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.</li>
