What You'll Do

Support nightly trash and recycling valet routes across apartment communities each evening. You'll collect bagged trash, recycling, and cardboard from residents' doors and transport materials to onsite dumpsters, chutes, or compactors. You'll inspect recycling for contamination, ensure proper separation, and check in/out while documenting your route using a mobile app. Issuing courtesy compliance notices, uploading required photos, and cleaning up loose trash near dumpsters and compactor areas are all part of the role. You'll also assist with training new team members, completing quality audits, and occasionally servicing pet waste stations.

Schedule

Monday through Friday evenings only. Typical start time is 5:30 PM with shifts running 3&ndash;5 hours. Most nights you'll be done by 11 PM. Shift length may vary based on property size, coverage needs, or seasonal factors. No weekends required.

Pay

$20&ndash;$25/hour depending on assignment and site requirements. Mileage is reimbursed at the current IRS standard rate. Typical weekly hours range from 15&ndash;20.

Physical Requirements

This role involves extensive walking throughout apartment communities, ascending and descending stairs at some properties, and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. All work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions. Some assignments require use of a personal open-bed pickup truck.

A tuck is required for this position.

Applicants must be 18 or older with a valid Utah driver's license and current auto insurance. A smartphone with an active data plan and location services enabled is required.  <li>
 Advanced training or certification in safety and security preferred.

 Extensive knowledge of fire prevention, safety, and security operations.

 SUMMARY
 
 
 
 
 
 
 The Accounting Manager position provides accounting support for The Porter Co., a subsidiary of publicly traded EMCOR Group Inc. The Accounting Manager is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting activities. Its business requires an in-depth knowledge of construction accounting, preferably at the specialized construction or subcontractor level. The position reports to Controller and interacts regularly with the leadership team of the Company. As a subsidiary of a publicly held, Fortune 500 company, exposure to public reporting and internal controls management is integral to the position.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Perform financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, and budgeting duties.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with monthly and quarterly accounting close and preparation of financial statements and reports.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with the Accounts Payable process and manager two direct reports in the Accounts Payable department.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with financial reporting including preparation, dissemination, and review of project work in progress reports.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with project teams with respect to project accounting and material issues: billings, collections, change orders, back charges, close-outs, labor and material costs, and profit/loss analysis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Insurance reporting and maintenance
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and generate all required lien waivers and tax certificates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and prepare Certified Payroll Reports, OCIP/Insurance Reports, Construction Employment Reports and M/WBE Reports as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and approve internal paperwork relating to new projects, change orders, and cost estimates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Calculate and maintain hourly cost breakdowns and billing labor rates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support Controller in the finance and accounting activities of the Company, including timely issuance of monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP, maintenance of regular cost reports, periodic budgets and forecasts, accurate processing of accounting transactions, and such other duties and responsibilities as come within the purview of this position.

 Escalate critical and/or sensitive issues to Senior Leadership with recommendation for resolution
