We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and fix a variety of vehicle &amp; equipment issues on-site. Job Responsibilities: 
<ul><li>
On-Site Diagnostics and Repairs: Perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment. Repairs and maintains construction equipment of various types and sizes from light-duty to heavy-duty (class 8) trucks and from light-duty to heavy duty operating equipment.</li><li>
Emergency Assistance: Provide roadside assistance for vehicles that have broken down, including repairs and towing coordination if necessary.</li><li>
Vehicle &amp; System Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance following OEM specifications as well as electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams. Remove and replace defective parts by dismantling devices using hand and power tools.</li><li>
Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition and properly maintained.</li><li>
Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functioning when used.</li><li>
Occasionally fabricate, weld and cut parts, using arc-welding/ wire feed and flame cutting equipment.</li><li>
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.</li><li>
Perform DOT inspections.</li><li>
Perform related and other duties as requested.</li></ul>
Skills and Qualifications: 
<ul><li>
Technical Expertise: Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a mobile service role.</li><li>
Diagnostic Skills: Strong ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical issues with vehicles and equipment.</li><li>
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions.</li><li>
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>
High School Diploma of GED</li><li>
Welding and fabrication experience preferred not required.</li></ul><ul><li>
Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license, a CDL license is preferred.</li><li>
Must have a good driving record with no major violations within the last 5 years or be accepted by the company insurance policy provider to drive PLP company vehicles.</li></ul>
