Job Duties</b></p><p>

This role is responsible for marketing strategy and growth initiatives across multiple business units, including eCommerce, SaaS, subscription, and mobile applications. Duties include: manage marketing an 8-digit budget to maximize revenue, margin, and profitability; set and oversee quarterly and annual performance goals; lead acquisition and retention channels, including search, social, programmatic, affiliate, influencer, SEO, CRM, SMS, and lifecycle automation; direct marketing strategy for Amazon platform, including product catalog and advertising; oversee customer journey design, creative operations, and performance testing; evaluate and implement AI and automation tools for media, creative, and forecasting; manage loyalty and membership programs; oversee data activation strategies, analytics platforms, and attribution models; lead go-to-market strategy for agriculture SaaS platform and subscription applications; build, lead, and evaluate distributed marketing teams; manage vendor relationships and external agencies.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Requirements</b></p><p>
At least 60 months of senior marketing leadership and management experience in e-commerce, including experience in a senior marketing leadership role managing an eCommerce business, a SaaS or subscription business, and mobile application with monetization strategy; experience managing large marketing budgets with P&amp;L responsibility; experience with e-commerce marketplace operations and related digital advertising platforms (e.g., Amazon Seller Central, PPC, DSP); experience in multi-channel acquisition and retention marketing, including search, social, email/SMS, and loyalty programs; experience leading geographically distributed cross-functional teams; experience with marketing analytics tools, advertising platforms, lifecycle management systems, and project/creative management software. Job Description</b></h2><p>
The Head of SMB Marketing will serve as the strategic bridge between the market, our customers, and internal teams&mdash;leading the development and execution of integrated product marketing and campaign strategies for Elavon Business Solutions. This leader will drive go to market efforts across priority verticals, accelerate pipeline and revenue performance for Elavon.com and Direct Sales, and partner closely with Channel &amp; Partner Marketing to support sell through and portfolio growth. The role spans product marketing, acquisition marketing, retention programs, lifecycle strategy, and cross functional alignment to advance our SMB growth priorities.</p><p><b>

Own messaging frameworks for sales, marketing, partners, and executives&mdash;ensuring consistency across Elavon.com, digital campaigns, events, and sales assets.</li><li>

Go‑to‑Market Leadership for SMB Product Launches &amp; Enhancements</b></p><ul><li>
Own SMB go‑to‑market planning for new product launches and enhancements, including segment definition, value prop refinement, readiness criteria, pricing/packaging influence, and commercialization strategy.</li><li>
Build launch and scale‑up plans that support both Elavon.com digital channels and Direct Sales teams.</li></ul><p><b>
Campaign Strategy, Demand Generation &amp; Acquisition Growth</b></p><ul><li>
Create and lead SMB‑focused acquisition strategies that drive qualified traffic, high‑quality lead capture, and conversion across channels (paid media, SEO, website pathways, email, content, and partner channels).</li><li>
Collaborate with Digital Marketing, Analytics, and Sales Operations to define funnel KPIs, improve conversion performance, and maximize ROI.</li><li>
Develop integrated vertical campaigns that accelerate demand and pipeline contribution.</li></ul><p><b>
Sales Enablement &amp; Partner Support</b></p><ul><li>
Build sales enablement content&mdash;including playbooks, vertical narratives, product sheets, demos, competitive insights, and objection‑handling guides.</li><li>
Partner with Sales teams to support sell‑through of SMB solutions, including co‑marketing assets, vertical toolkits, partner‑ready messaging, and campaign activation resources.</li><li>
Enable sales teams with insights and tools that help them better position our value to SMB prospects and customers.</li></ul><p><b>
Cross‑Sell, Lifecycle Marketing &amp; Retention</b></p><ul><li>
Develop and execute SMB lifecycle programs that increase activation, deepen product usage, drive cross‑sell, and improve retention.</li><li>
Partner with Product, Customer Success, and Analytics to define lifecycle journeys that reduce churn and expand product penetration across the SMB base.</li><li>
Build data‑driven programs (email, SMS, in‑product, triggered workflows) that drive incremental portfolio and revenue growth.</li></ul><p><b>
Performance Tracking, Analytics &amp; Continuous Optimization</b></p><ul><li>
Monitor campaign performance, product adoption, funnel dynamics, and revenue outcomes across SMB channels.</li><li>
Deliver performance insights that refine marketing strategy, inform product roadmap decisions, and surface opportunities to accelerate growth&mdash;consistent with the performance feedback loop in the uploaded job description.</li><li>
Build SMB case studies, success stories, and advocacy programs that reinforce customer value and support sales effectiveness.</li></ul><p><b>
Basic Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience.</li><li>
15+ years of experience in B2B or SMB marketing, including product marketing, lifecycle, growth, demand generation, or vertical marketing.</li><li>
