Position Description
U.S. Soccer is seeking an experienced Video Producer for the Federation Video content team. The Manager will be tasked will be tasked with telling the story of soccer in all forms across the soccer landscape. This includes highlighting the Federation&rsquo;s work in service to soccer, our members (referees, coaches, member orgs, etc.) and ultimately the best of us - our athletes across our Youth and Extended National Teams. 
This role will assist in overseeing the video production for content surrounding the Federation, including all phases of the end-to-end process: shooting, field producing, and editing. It will also require assisting in the staffing of events and/or productions, as well as managing media for external vendors. There will be a heavy emphasis on maximizing video content with an &ldquo;always on&rdquo; approach, including but not limited to in-camp, match day, and partner content, with quick turnarounds.
This individual will need to collaborate with key internal stakeholders. This includes the Social Media Team, Content Strategy and Partnership Marketing on branded content, and other marketing departments for different commercial objectives across the Federation, USMNT and USWNT.
In addition to storytelling, this role will also need to conceptualize and ideate new video content series and will develop and execute video content to support the Federation&rsquo;s commercial efforts: growing Insiders, driving ticket sales, supporting kit launches, and working with U.S. Soccer&rsquo;s partners.
Travel to team events, camps and games will be required, including holidays and weekends. This includes international travel and a valid passport is required. 
Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>
Production of Federation video content across U.S. Soccer digital platforms.</li><li>
Produce, shoot, edit, and deliver quality visual stories of varying lengths and aspect ratios, optimized for platforms and audiences.</li><li>

<div>We're looking for a Content Creator Manager who lives and breathes video content. If you love turning raw footage into engaging social media posts and know your way around Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop, this role is for you.
This position is heavily focused on shooting, editing, and producing video content for social media platforms. You'll be responsible for helping create compelling short-form and long-form video that captures attention and drives engagement. This position will report directly to the Marketing Director and work alongside a great Marketing Team!
WHAT SKILLS ARE NEEDED:<ul><li>
Shoot and produce video content for social media and marketing campaigns</li><li>
Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos optimized for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook</li><li>
Work with marketing leadership to develop content ideas and campaigns</li><li>
Manage video projects from concept through final publish</li><li>
Create graphics and thumbnails using Adobe Photoshop</li><li>
Organize and manage a growing library of video and photo assets</li><li>
Stay on top of social media trends and help translate them into creative content</li></ul>

<div>As a Social Media Manager, you will lead the growth of ConsumerAffairs&rsquo; organic social presence, with a primary focus on building and scaling our organic video strategy. This role sits at the intersection of content, brand, and audience growth, and will be responsible for developing and executing social-first content strategies that expand our reach, strengthen our brand voice, and drive engagement across platforms.
You will lead the development of our organic video presence across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, translating our data studies, consumer insights, and editorial content into compelling, shareable social content. This is an opportunity to build and shape ConsumerAffairs&rsquo; voice on social, helping grow our audience and establish the brand as a trusted, recognizable presence across emerging platforms.
You will take ownership of social content ideation, experiment with new formats and trends, and collaborate closely with writers, researchers, and the broader content team to bring our stories to life in engaging ways. You&rsquo;ll combine creativity with performance data to identify what resonates with audiences and continuously refine and optimize our strategy.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of social platforms, content trends, and audience behavior, along with experience creating and managing organic social content&mdash;particularly short-form video. You stay ahead of platform trends, enjoy testing new ideas, and thrive in fast-paced environments focused on growth and experimentation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>
Own and lead ConsumerAffairs&rsquo; organic social media strategy across platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Reddit), aligning with broader marketing and brand goals.</li><li>
Develop and manage the social media editorial calendar, planning timely, relevant, and engaging content.</li><li>
Create and publish high-performing social content, including copywriting, visuals, and platform-native posts.</li><li>
Lead the company&rsquo;s organic video strategy, ideating short-form and long-form content and collaborating with creators and editors to produce it.</li><li>
Identify trends, formats, and platform opportunities to keep the brand culturally relevant and competitive.</li><li>
Manage community engagement, including responding to comments, messages, and fostering meaningful interactions with audiences.</li><li>
Collaborate with the paid marketing team to align organic and paid social efforts, sharing insights that improve campaign performance.</li><li>
Analyze social performance metrics and use insights to optimize content, test new formats, and grow audience reach and engagement.</li><li>
Act as the primary owner of the brand&rsquo;s social presence, operating independently while continuously testing and improving strategy.</li><li>
Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance content ideation, video production workflows, social listening, and performance analysis&mdash;using emerging technologies to improve efficiency, creativity, and audience insights.</li></ul> 

Requirements 
<ul><li>
BA in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field</li><li>
5+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, publisher, or consumer-facing company</li><li>
Experience developing and executing organic video strategies, especially short-form video.</li><li>
Ability to independently plan, execute, and optimize a full social media program from strategy through publishing and reporting</li><li>
Comfortable using social analytics and scheduling tools to track performance and optimize strategy</li><li>
Must be able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment along with the ability to accept interruptions as part of the routine</li><li>
Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and a willingness to take on additional responsibility</li></ul>
Technical Requirements:<ul><li>
Familiarity with social analytics tools and platform-native insights (Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics, etc.)</li><li>
Proficiency with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms</li><li>
Familiarity with AI tools that support social media workflows, including content ideation, editing, and analytics.</li></ul>
