Job Position Description:

KRDO13, the ABC affiliate in Colorado Springs has an immediate opening for a Video Editor/Photographer. This will primarily be a video editor role but will also include shooting video and conducting interviews in the field when needed. This role requires someone who thrives in a high-pressure and a daily deadline-driven environment. The Video Editor/Photographer must be comfortable collaborating and communicating with multiple members of the news team each shift. This is not a remote position and requires flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays in the newsroom and in the field.

Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Shoot and edit videos for newscasts.</li>
<li>Run live shots for newscasts.</li>
<li>Respond to breaking news and weather, gather video and conduct interviews.</li>
<li>Gather information and relay to producers and newsroom managers.</li>
<li>Represent the station. This includes responsible driving habits, professional appearance, and professional behavior &ldquo;in the field&rdquo; where news is gathered.</li>
<li>Work with reporters to get the best possible video to tell each story with accuracy and maximum impact.</li>
<li>Take care of company equipment and cars.</li>
<li>Willing to come in when needed outside of regular shift.</li>
