Qualifications:

 Maintain records for clinical students in order to comply with clinical agency requirements and protest the student, clinical agencies and the public using a variety of information sheets and forms.

Performs routine audits of clinical practice and compliance</li><li>
Assists in training, evaluation, and supervising assisted living nursing compliance activity</li><li>
Oversees Infection Control and Quality Assurance process results, reporting, and correction</li><li>
Identifies opportunity for performance improvement</li><li>
Approves corrective action plans developed by nursing management to address non-compliance/undesired outcomes</li><li>
Works collaboratively across all Ebenezer nursing departments to promote and uphold best nursing practices and apply the Nurse Practice Act principles</li></ul><div>
Participates in the development of Policies &amp; Procedures:</div><ul><li>
Plays a major role in developing appropriate and up to date AL health services policies and procedures</li><li>
Oversees implementation of policies and assures that sites are consistently following proper procedure</li></ul><div>
Contributes to managing the nursing department budget:</div><ul><li>
Assists with developing and implementing relevant and revenue generating service package options</li><li>
Assists with setting pricing for assisted living services</li><li>
Assists with presenting cost-effective staffing model options</li><li>
Assists in the development and evaluation of efficient and effective operational procedures for nursing</li></ul><div>
Provides ongoing support to AL sites:</div><ul><li>
Conducts sites visits on a regular basis</li><li>
Coordinates regular Director of Health Services meetings that include an educational component</li><li>
Provides training, orientation, and ongoing mentoring for new clinical staff</li><li>
Provides technical and interim management as requested</li><li>
Participates in and supports sites through Minnesota Department of Health and other regulatory survey process</li></ul><div>
Other responsibilities:</div><ul><li>
Completes special projects as assigned</li><li>
Leads clinical Assisted Living work groups as assigned</li><li>
Oversees Electronic Medical Record utilization at the sites</li><li>
Provides supervision and support for float nurses</li><li>
Collaborates across departments to support service excellence and full apartment occupancy</li></ul><div>
Required Qualifications</div><ul><li>
Vocational School or Associate of Science</li><li>
3 years experience</li><li>
Registered Nurse or Registered with the MN Board of Nursing</li><li>
Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc, Red Cross or MTN) for Health Care Provider American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross; accepted certifications as follows AHA: BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR &amp; AED) Program or BLS Provider - BLS Instructor. American Red Cross: CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and/or Healthcare Providers, Life Guarding First Aid/CPR/AED</li><li>
Drivers License (in good standing)</li></ul><div>
