The Community Outreach and Employment Manager supervises 4-8 office staff in the administration of the program that serves an average of 100 participants daily and 180 participants annually, within a defined geographical region. Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Plans, organizes, and implements assigned projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>
Establishes a presence for the organization in targeted communities by engaging multicultural audiences, developing community partnerships, building volunteer capacity, and designing and executing engaging community programs and events. Develops and manages relationships with third-party contacts including program participants, vendors, program partners, and others.</li><li>
Aligns volunteer and partner interests with organizational priorities, supports volunteer/partner needs, and designs opportunities to maximize volunteer engagement in pursuit of the organization's goals. Collaborates on administration of volunteer programs or volunteer strategy. Participates in recruiting, managing, and training volunteers when necessary.</li><li>
Uses and analyzes data (program, financial, research, etc.) to recommend program and process improvements and monitor impact. Prepares data and reports to various stakeholders.</li><li>
Executes on business/program operations tasks as necessary for the business unit including research, report writing, and/or creating presentations.</li><li>
Contributes to tracking and reporting of strategic plan strategies and action plans. Assists in developing and implementing new solutions.</li><li>
Assists with the management of program budgets and assets.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School diploma / GED equivalent required.</li><li>
Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible management experience, including 1 year supervision of staff and 2 years of budget management; or an equivalent combination of training and experience related to the duties of the position.</li><li>
Experience working in an environment with complex administrative or regulatory procedures.</li><li>
Proficiency in creating PowerPoint presentations, entering data, pulling reports from databases, and using contemporary software packages. Also, ability to perform basic to intermediate level computer/technical troubleshooting.</li><li>
Must be willing to travel within the assigned geographical area.</li></ul><div></div><div>

As a Community Disaster Program Manager, you will ensure effective collaboration with Volunteer Services; identify, mobilize, and engage partners in all communities in assigned geographic area; and determine current readiness resources, facilities, supplies, local vendors, and strategies for addressing gaps. You will work with volunteers to ensure that the communities you serve are ready to respond to disasters.
Join us in meeting the needs of continuous disaster response! Regional disaster employees are required to deploy to disaster relief operations outside of their region at a minimum of once a year. Deployments contribute to skill building, career development and exposure to different types of disasters. Allowances may be provided for personal circumstances and local response activity. Employees must meet all training and physical capacity requirements for deployment.

Education: Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.</li><li>

Summary: 
The Volunteer Relations Associate is a crucial member of the Trevor&rsquo;s Volunteer program supporting both Community and Student volunteer counselors on Trevor&rsquo;s crisis services platforms including Chat/Text and Lifeline, which provide nationwide crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ+ youth.
