Requirements:
Likely spent the first years at a world-renowned company that is in the clean energy ecosystem (e.g., Independent Power Producer, Integrator, EPC, developer or utility at company in the Middle East). They then spent the next 5 years at a start-up developing renewable energy, energy storage or other clean energy technologies with customers that include utilities, commercial and industrial accounts.<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (BA/BS) in Business, Engineering or related discipline is required. A Master&rsquo;s in Business Administration or additional technical credentials is strongly desired.</li><li>
Expertise in Middle Eastern (Saudi Arabia, UAE, etc.) electricity markets is required; applicants should have 5 years of demonstrated customer-facing sales experience in these markets.</li><li>
10+ years of progressive experience in Sales with demonstrated track record of closing complex sales cycles, in an early-stage company is desired. Experience managing P&amp;L and working to achieve ambitious goals is highly desirable.</li><li>

 Oversee and assist in conducting investigations of matters of interest and drafting voluntary disclosures

 Assist with development of trade compliance policy and procedures

 Lead GTC&rsquo;s continuous improvement, development and corrective action efforts

 Provide and develop training for the export/import program in conjunction with the VP GTLS

 Work closely with the CC GTC and VP GTLS to understand compliance problems as they arise in the Sectors, and formulate successful changes to our program to address compliance issues

 Participate in the Global Trade Steering Committee

 Foster cross-Sector, and cross-functions collaboration

 Directly engage with USG on compliance issues

 Required Education, Experience, &amp; Skills
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Juris Doctor degree with 10+ years of experience
 </li>
 <li>
 In depth understanding of U.S. Export and Import controls including extensive experience as an Empowered Official for businesses handling ITAR and EAR controlled material.
 </li>
 <li>
 A general understanding of the export control regimes for other countries in which BAE Systems Inc. operates (Sweden, UK, Turkey) and/or does significant business (EU, Japan, Korea, Australia)
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong leadership skills and collaborative approach to problem solving
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to deliver executive level training/ presentations
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong written and oral communication skills to provide briefings to attorneys and Global Trade Function, as well as to senior business management personnel
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to engage with the USG on compliance issues
 </li>
 <li>
 Secret Clearance and ability to get Top Secret Clearance

 Full-Time Salary Range: $200222 - $340378
 
 
 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
