 Position Overview
 
 
 
 Reporting directly to the President &amp; CEO, the Vice President of Finance serves as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of all financial functions at PAI. This leader will guide financial planning, compliance, accounting operations, audit, and reporting while ensuring strong stewardship of organizational resources in support of PAI&rsquo;s global mission.
 
 
 The VP of Finance will build and lead a high-performing finance function, strengthening infrastructure, systems, and processes to support a complex, grant-funded organization operating across multiple geographies. This individual will partner closely with internal leadership, the Board of Directors, and external stakeholders to translate financial data into strategic insight, enabling informed decision-making and long-term sustainability.

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required, CPA or advanced degree preferred.

 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.

You&rsquo;ll partner with leadership and program teams across the organization, helping ensure each unit operates effectively while aligning with overall financial goals.What You&rsquo;ll Do:Drive Financial Excellence Across Units<ul><li>Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes</li><li>Prepare and review accurate, timely financial reports across multiple programs or departments</li><li>Ensure compliance with accounting standards, grants, and nonprofit regulations</li><li>Administer annual audit process</li><li>Handle payables and receivables via streamlined processes</li></ul>Guide Budgeting &amp; Forecasting<ul><li>Coordinate and support the budgeting process across multiple organizational units</li><li>Develop and maintain forecasts that reflect program-level and organization-wide needs</li><li>Partner with unit leaders to monitor performance and manage financial health</li></ul>Strengthen Systems &amp; Processes<ul><li>Identify opportunities to improve financial workflows across interdependent teams</li><li>Support system enhancements and automation initiatives</li><li>Help standardize processes while respecting the unique needs of different units</li></ul>Lead &amp; Develop Talent<ul><li>Provide guidance and oversight on day-to-day financial activities</li><li>Foster a collaborative, mission-driven finance culture</li></ul>Be a Strategic Partner<ul><li>Work closely with leaders to translate financial data into actionable insights</li><li>Support leadership in balancing mission impact with financial sustainability</li><li>Help align financial strategies across multiple units</li></ul>What You Bring:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field</li><li>4&ndash;8 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting</li><li>Experience in nonprofit accounting, including fund or grant accounting</li><li>Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting</li><li>Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills</li><li>Experience with ERP or nonprofit financial systems</li></ul>Bonus Points For:<ul><li>CPA, CMA, or MBA</li><li>Experience working in a multi-entity or multi-department nonprofit environment</li><li>Familiarity with grant compliance and donor reporting</li><li>Prior leadership or supervisory experience</li></ul>What Success Looks Like:<ul><li>Reliable, transparent financial reporting across all units</li><li>Strong alignment between program goals and financial plans</li><li>Improved processes that enhance efficiency across teams</li><li>Meaningful financial insights that support mission-driven decisions</li></ul>Why This Role Is Exciting:This isn&rsquo;t just a finance role&mdash;it&rsquo;s a chance to make a real difference in the Cedar Rapids community.  You'll work directly under our senior AM and Director of Sales, learning the craft of growing IT services accounts on real client engagements from day one.
 
 
 What you'll own
 
 A supporting role across a portfolio of active US and EU accounts, with primary ownership of a smaller subset of low-complexity accounts as you ramp
 
 Quarterly Business Review preparation: pulling delivery data, drafting the narrative, building the deck, coordinating the agenda with engineering leads
 
 Internal coordination between the client, our delivery teams, and finance &mdash; Jira tickets, Salesforce hygiene, SOW change tracking, invoice queries
 
 First-line client communication on operational matters: status updates, scheduling, documentation, follow-ups
 
 Spotting expansion signals in client conversations and feeding them to the senior AM with context
 
 Account health monitoring &mdash; flagging when a client goes quiet, when a delivery issue is brewing, when a contract is approaching renewal
 
 
 You will not be expected to close expansion deals alone in year one. You will be expected to identify them, write them up clearly, and learn how they get closed by shadowing every step.
 
 
 Reporting structure
 
 Day-to-day: Senior Account Manager / Director of Sales
 
 Functional: VP of Sales (commercial) / VP Professional Services (technical)
 
 
 What we're looking for
 
 1&ndash;3 years in a client-facing role: project coordination, junior PM, customer success associate, BDR/SDR, or post-sale support at a services or tech company
 
 Strong writing &mdash; clear, structured, no fluff. We work in writing.
 
 Detail orientation that survives Friday afternoon at 6pm: Jira tickets stay updated, follow-ups don't fall through, SOW dates are in the calendar
 
 Comfort sitting in technical conversations between client engineering leads and our delivery team &mdash; you don't need to lead, but you can't be lost
 
 Natural curiosity about how IT services businesses make money &mdash; billing models, margins, utilization, contract structures
 
 Based in Lahore
