As a waitstaff, you will play an important role in all phases of serving that meets or exceeds Buckner quality, service, and hospitality standards. What you'll do:</b></p>

<li>Must be upbeat, courteous, and positive.</li>
<li>Possesses great guest relation and communications skills.</li>
<li>Deliver hospitality, enhance every guest experience.</li>
<li>Be able to navigate through the menu, describe featured menu items. Demonstrate extensive menu knowledge.</li>
<li>Take accurate food and beverage orders. Be able to send orders to kitchen accurately through the point of sales system. Partner with all associates to serve food and beverages in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Cash handling, including, but not limited to counting and balancing cash register. Ensure all payments are processed timely, accurately, and correctly. Maintain the confidentiality of guest information.</li>
<li>Must have the ability to multi-task and work well with others.</li>
<li>Must be able to adhere to our Buckner Service Standards.</li>
<li>Responsible for all side-work duties assigned and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in all dining areas, some kitchen areas.</li>
<li>Work successfully as part of a team and responsible for developing then maintaining strong working relationships with co-workers..</li>

<li>Requires ability to understand and follow basic written and oral step-by-step instructions.</li>
<li>Requires ability to move food serving and preparation equipment as needed, using up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force continuously to move objects and/or people.</li>
<li>Work deals mostly with objects, equipment and/or machines where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach. Depth perception and field of vision (peripheral) are of some importance.</li>
<li>Requires ability to turn, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, handle, stand, and walk over 75% of shift.</li>
<li>Requires ability to safely utilize kitchen equipment and recognize differences in sound generated by equipment or machinery which may indicate operation problems or safety concerns.</li>
<li>Requires ability to work under close supervision performing routine, standardized tasks.</li>
<li>Requires ability to perform tasks with due consideration for residents in vicinity and ability to cooperate and work with other employees.</li>
