Why do we need you?
To set up banquet room and serve all food and beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
What you will do:<ul><li>
Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars, including guests and hotel expectations.</li><li>
Sets up all banquet functions such as table linens, silverware, glassware, and centerpieces.</li><li>
Sets up waiting and beverage stations.</li><li>
Sets up all perishable items for banquet service such as bread, butter, and cream.</li><li>
Serves all food and beverages to banquet guests. Replenish beverages as necessary.</li><li>
Clear away all dishes and items used in the service of a banquet, including the linens.</li><li>
Ensures the proper storage of all items from equipment to perishable foods.</li><li>
Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly fashion.</li><li>
Prepares for future banquets by folding napkins, filling condiments, and performing other duties as required.</li><li>
Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.</li><li>
Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.</li><li>
Once banquet is complete, reset banquet room according to Supervisors&rsquo; specifications to ensure the readiness of the room for the following function.</li><li>
