When these jobs become available, this employee will transition from a warehouse worker to a heat-shrink technician (usually with several days notice). When not heat-shrinking, you will be working full-time in our warehouse. Some jobs are outside in the summer and winter. All gear will be provided, but a successful applicant must be responsible, strong, punctual, and able to work in the heat or cold.</p><p><b>Applicants MUST have the following skills:</b></p><p><i>-Ability to read a ruler (in inches) and calculate measurements</i><br/>-Basic mathematical aptitude - addition, subtraction, multiplication, division<br/>-Oral and Reading Communication Skills<br/>-Time Management<br/>-Responsibility and Trustworthiness</p><p><b>Required/Desired Certifications:</b></p><p>-Must possess or have the ability to acquire a TWIC card (ability to pass a background check for criminal record and passing a drug screen).<br/>-License to operate forklift, scissor-lift, man-lift and other machinery a plus, but not required.</p><p>Xtend Packaging highly values exceptional employees - opportunities exist for rapid advancement for employees whose performance exceeds expectations.</p><p>Please Note: Warehouse employees must be able to lift 50 pounds or must request assistance if unable to do so.</p><p><b>Education/Experience</b>:Prior work experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
