The Wastewater Treatment Technician is responsible for carrying out the routine operational and maintenance, environmental and safety duties as assigned. Monitor the operation of all wastewater processing equipment.</li><li>

About the role</b></p><p></p><p>
The Waste Process Technician I (WPT I) is an entry level position responsible to safely perform the following fundamental tasks which may include the following based on individual Business Unit: off-loading inbound trucks, waste stream QA/QC, verify container count, manifest number and other relevant data needed for waste processing. Container sampling, recognizing non-conforming material, and processing of material through shredding operations, direct loading into solidification pit, LDI, etc. The WPT I is expected to have a general mechanical understanding of waste processing equipment. Specifically, via forklift, forklift attachments, hose, and valve operation.</p><p></p><p><b>
Position Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Understand basic facility permit requirements and conduct daily activities to support all safety and compliance requirements.</li><li>
Operate a variety of equipment including but not limited to pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, and other power tools in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as OSHA requirements.</li><li>
Safely operate mobile equipment (e.g., yard dog) within the facility boundaries.</li><li>
Able to off load inbound packages, liquid trucks, and containers.</li><li>
Process inbound material using facility and mobile equipment.</li><li>
Waste stream QA/QC &amp; Lab analysis associated with receiving and shipping waste and material.</li><li>
Complete and submit all facility associated paperwork associated with regulatory and safety record keeping paperwork.</li><li>
General cleaning of facility and grounds.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
One plus years of experience.</li><li>
Must be able to operate forklifts and other power tools.</li><li>
Ability to utilize NetSuite.</li><li>
Must exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Demonstrate attention to detail and time management.</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent, <i>preferred</i></li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Physical Demands of the Role</b></p><ul><li>
Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb</li><li>

It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.</p><p></p>
The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $35,600.00 - $47,300.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.<p></p><p><b>
